Pet care experience

Loving care when you're not there!

Hello! My name is Natalie and I I have been walking and taking care of dogs since I was a teenager. In 2017 I was blessed to have adopted a senior pitbull named Brutus. I cared for him until he passed away in late 2021, due to cancer. My time with Brutus has allowed me to gain a lot of experience caring for senior dogs and dogs with special needs. Since Brutus was in an abusive home, before adoption, he has a mild to mid case of separation anxiety. This has allowed me to gain a lot of experience when learning about dog behaviors and how to socialize and care for dogs who are highly reactive. My experience owning Brutus has also allowed me to gain more patience, empathy, and confidence in caring for pets. Around July 2024 I also started working for a pet sitting service that allowed me to work with a variety of animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, and rodents. Having this range of pet care has allowed me to care for a variety of animals and attune to their needs. Additionally, I am also able to administer medication and can accommodate for any exercise, food, or behavioral needs that are specified.

Natalie has cared for our dog on more than one occasion. She’s caring, loving and responsive. Natalie treats ChiChi as if she were her own dog. Even though Natalie has moved farther away from us, I gladly make the trip to her home because she’s the best sitter for ChiChi.

Natalie is very responsible and caring. She wanted to get to know my pup to make sure her care matched her needs.

Natalie was great! Very communicative and shared a lot of pictures. When Layla was doing something unusual she reached out to see if it was normal or odd behavior. We’d book with her again!

Natalie has watched my previous dog for me a couple years ago and recently sat my newer high energy dog on short notice. Drax was well taken care of and I received pics daily. Very professional and accommodating.

Schedule

I have a pretty open schedule so I am able to give a generous amount of time for walks, pets, cuddles, and lots of play time.

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in an apartment
Does not have a yard
Non-smoking household
Has no pets
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 2-4 hours

Safety, trust & environment

I currently live in an apartment complex on the bottom floor. The space allows plenty of sunlight and window time for pets, areas and sidewalk space to freely walk dogs, a small dog park near the back of my apartment complex, and my living room and bedroom are up for lounge time and relaxation.

A typical day

I normally wake up early to feed and walk the dogs. When I take breaks away from my computer I’ll play and check in on them and when I’m off from working they get all the love and cuddles!

Cats
0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
41 to 100 lbs
Dogs over 1 year old
Spayed and neutered dogs only
No females in heat
Takes only 1 client at a time
Natalie can host up to 2 pets per night
Please let me know if your dog has any traits or needs that I should look out or be aware of (ex. scared of bigger dogs, separation anxiety, irregular bladder, etc.) I want to make sure I make every dog and pet feel special during their stay and would like to accommodate their needs.
