Dog-Loving Young Couple w/ Big Yard
Hi! We’re Natalie and Tim, and we have both had dogs our entire lives. Natalie worked at a Humane Society in college, and Tim fostered dogs (and was a “failed foster” parent) for many years before we moved to Maine with our two doggies, Penny & Willa. We spend lots of time taking our dogs and dogs who we sit for to local nature trails in Cumberland or enjoying fetch with the Chuck-It in our large backyard. Our home is kid-free, and we will treat your pups like our own!

Schedule
Tim works from home, and Natalie is a full-time graduate student with a flexible schedule. Your dogs will be home with either or both of us for the majority, if not the entire time!

Safety, trust & environment
We have a large yard (1.5 acres) on a quiet street in a very dog-friendly neighborhood. Although our yard is not physically fenced, we do have an electric fence that could work for your dog if they are trained on this at your home! We are happy to crate your dogs - we’re even happy to have them in our bedroom and on the couch if they prefer!

A typical day
Wake up, hang outside, have a treat, eat some breakfast, head to the park/trail, chill out at home, afternoon playtime with a ball, dinner, and snuggles!

- We’d love to know what your dog likes to do for fun, how they behave off-leash (we go on nature walks often), dietary/medication needs, and any rules you have for them in your home. We are not a good fit for dogs who have a history of resource guarding and prefer to take dogs who enjoy the company of other dogs (not just tolerate it). Our house is fairly open, and although we feed dogs separately, dogs will share toys, beds, affection, etc. Dogs who love to play with others will have a great time with us.
