Availability
Currently I am able to care for your loved one any time and any day I am needed! I am very flexible in my scheduling, and willing to provide late night and early morning drop ins as needed. I do take the bus, so there may be occasional time constraints depending on the route taken, but I am always willing to work with you to create a schedule that fits both yours and your pets needs.

I follow care instructions as provided by the owner. If none are provided via the app, i will ask for some to be written or added to the app prior to the booking All that being said, I'm not adverse to improvising when it comes to walks or playtime! A walk may turn into a quick jaunt through a park (on leash, of course), or an empty box might be used during a stay to provide some feline enrichment :)

If your pet has any special needs, I am happy to accommodate them. I do need to know if your dog is reactive on-leash so I can plan appropriate walking routes and enrichment. If your pet is on a training regimen, let me know and I'll be sure to incorporate it in during my stay!
A typical day
I love to spend time making sure your cat or dog is happy and comfortable, through play, long walks, grooming, and going to the local dog park! For cats I especially like to focus on building trust and comfort through grooming and play, and for dogs I'm always down for a romp through the neighborhood or a nice long cuddle - whatever they're in the mood for! I also take pocket pets and birds on a case by case basis - please ask about my rates when creating the booking!

Pet care experience
I've been caring for my own pets for the last 25 years, petsitting for friends and family for the last 10 years, and have been professionally caring for other's pets as a veterinary assistant for the last 6 years. In between shifts at work I routinely walk my neighbors' dogs and petsit when they are out of town. I also have experience with birds, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs! Currently i am pet sitting full time, which means plenty of open time to schedule with your pets! I do travel by bus, but am available for early morning and late night visits as feasible depending on the route. Health and safety is important to me! I make sure that each pet has a clean food and water dish, clean bedding, a clean litter box/ potty pads, and a clean enclosure or play area each time I visit. I also provide enrichment through play or training, and make sure to spend some time petting and grooming each pet as well!
