A typical day includes plenty of outdoor time tailored to your dog’s energy level and preferences. I love taking well-socialized dogs on the Legacy Trail in Truckee for structured walks, and for those who enjoy the water, I’m happy to include supervised lake time. I also enjoy running, hiking, and biking, so for dogs with higher energy and appropriate training, I can offer more adventurous outings in the backcountry. My goal is always to provide safe, engaging, and enriching experiences that match each dog’s individual needs.

I began working with animals at a young age, volunteering at local shelters such as the Truckee Humane Society and caring for dogs in the Tahoe community. Over the years, this has grown into a genuine passion for providing thoughtful, attentive, and reliable care for pets of all kinds. I prioritize quality time, enrichment, and exercise tailored to each dog’s individual needs whether that’s a structured walk, outdoor adventure, or simply calm, consistent companionship. I am especially mindful of maintaining routines, reinforcing good behavior, and ensuring your pet feels safe and comfortable while you’re away. I also provide regular photo updates so you can feel connected and confident knowing your pet is in good hands. Great experience and my kids (dogs) were very happy. She was very accommodating and sent me photos of my dogs.
Natalie was amazing! So glad to have found her. It’s always nerve wracking leaving an old fussy dog with someone new, but Hailey had a great stay and loved all the attention! Would use Natalie again in a second! She was super flexible when our flight home was delayed, sooo grateful!
Natalie was simply a wonderful match for our little Abby! She showed love and compassion to our dog from the moment they met. Photos were sent periodically through the day and we are very happy to have found Natalie and will most definitely use her again! Thank you so much Natalie!
