Your Pet My Job🐾 I always check in with pet owners beforehand to understand their little one’s needs, routines, and any no-go zones - safety and comfort are everything. When cat-sitting, I make sure windows and balcony doors are securely closed and toilet seats are down. It’s the small details that make all the difference! I believe pets deserve the same love and attention as everything else in life - think leisurely park strolls, playful afternoons/evenings, and plenty of pampered downtime together. I take time to understand commands, training specifications, and personality traits before any walk. Knowing a dog’s temperament keeps me in control, helps me read situations early, and allows me to diffuse anything before it has a chance to escalate. During our meet and greet, I ask that owners share any behavioural concerns or special needs their pet may have - such as anxiety - so I can ensure the most comfortable, tailored experience possible. I also ask that all pets are registered with a vet prior to my care, so that in the unlikely event of an emergency, we’re fully prepared. It’s about creating a safe, happy experience for every pet in my care.
