Before pet sitting, I like to get to know a pet a bit so I can keep things as normal and stress-free as possible for them. I usually ask about their daily routine, feeding times, favorite toys, and what they enjoy doing most. It’s also helpful to know their personality, any quirks, fears, or habits, and how they are on walks or around other animals. I always make sure to ask about any medical needs or special care too, so I can give them the best care and make sure they’re happy and comfortable while you’re away
A typical day
When I’m pet sitting, I really focus on making sure each pet feels happy and comfortable. I love playing with their favorite toys, throwing a ball for fetch, going on walks, and letting them explore and burn off some energy. I also enjoy spending quiet time together, whether that’s brushing, relaxing, or working on simple tricks. Most of all, I make sure every pet gets lots of attention, cuddles, and love so they feel safe and cared for while you’re away.

I’ve had/been around many different types of dogs my entire life. My family would always want me to come over and train/watch theirs animals for them like I was the go to person for anybody who got a new pet. I also use to volunteer at a boarding company to help feed/walk the dogs.
