I grew up on a small farm on the west coast surrounded by animals. This prepared me for just about any situation that can come up when working with pets. I love large and small breed dogs (shih tzus, dachshunds, German shepherds, golden retrievers, and great danes have all been part of my family). I worked with fish, rabbits, chickens, cats, dogs, sheep, pigs, and horses. I'm comfortable with day to day chores liking feeding and exercise, all the way up to caring for snake bites or broken bones. I'm happy to learn more about you and your pets and work with your furry friend's regimen, old or young, big or small. Whatever your pet, if you will show me what they need, I'll take care of it. I can't wait to meet you!

Safety, trust & environment
I usually do care in a client's home. This means I adjust my schedule and routine to fit your pet's regular day to day so they can feel calm, comfortable, and safe. I always inspect yards/fences before letting dogs out, and if we are going outside of the yard, they are always leashed - no exceptions. I take their safety extremely serious, so I am not willing to take any risks off leash. Even with friendly pets, I always tend to cross the street to avoid any oncoming dogs just as a precaution. As an extra precaution, I also have air-tight business insurance, in addition to the Rover guarantee, that covers all work that I do on Rover. When I do take pets into my home: I have a dachshund that's very happy to be a friend to your pet during their stay. I also have a fenced front yard and backyard. We also enjoy stops at the dog park, but usually avoid the park if we have a guest. My pup is also in scent sports, so your pet is welcome to do scent exercises with us in our home!

Natalie did a great job. She was thorough and efficient. Her care for my cat showed her love for animals and especially my kitty cat. She was very responsive to any real time questions I had while I was gone. On top of caring so well for my cat she gathered my mail, watered plants, put out the trash cans and change lighting in the house every day. Will definitely hire her again.
Natalie is THE BEST with my very loud and opinionated dachshund. Always provides detailed reports and updates.

Schedule
I do professional pet care full time! I set my schedule and keep a lot of flexibility so I am happy to dedicate my time to your pet! I'm free all of weekends so we will have plenty of time to play!
