Safety, trust & environment

My home is dog-proofed since I have a (friendly) dog of my own, and I make sure dogs are securely leashed when on walks in the neighborhood. In others’ homes, I leave spaces tidy and ensure that all the pet’s needs are met (ex. water full, litter box clean, etc.).

Information Natalie M. would like to know about your pet

It is helpful for me to know if your dog has any physical or behavioral traits that I should be aware of in the home or on walks. Example questions I may ask: Are they okay with interacting with other people or dogs? Can we go on a long walk or is it best to stay close to home? Does your dog have any reactivity or resource guarding tendencies to be aware of?

A typical day

I love exploring new places on walks and am happy to make the outings as structured or unstructured as you’d like (ex. “My dog loves to get energy out by sniffing around the neighborhood” or “My dog could use some training to stop pulling on the leash”).

Pet care experience

A lifelong animal lover, I have cared for all sorts of pets through personal ownership, professional caretaking, and philanthropic activities (volunteering and fostering). I understand that each pet has a unique personality and needs and am happy to accommodate for those differences with patience and empathy. Caring for animals is a privilege that I don’t take likely and I make sure your pet’s well-being and safety come first, always.

Natalie watched our two cats and rabbit while we were on a trip recently. She did a great job and we highly recommend her!

Natalie is amazing! She has been so great with my newly adopted rescue dog. She is patient, kind and loving to my pup. In addition she offered to bring her dog along for walks to help my dog socialize! My dog loves having a friend to show him the ropes on his walks!

Natalie is very professional, cordial, and friendly. She was very nice to meet with us and our pup Bella prior to their first engagement. I really appreciate how easy going, punctual, and reliable Natalie is! The photo updates we receive are so fun and I trust her fully to watch Bella. We are very happy we found her!
