Before any booking, I ideally like to do a free-of-charge meet ‘n greet so I can learn about your pet’s routine, personality and care requirements to ensure we are a fit. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my top priority, so, I will note your vets name, number, immunizations, tick prevention meds and your last vet visit result. Information Natalie M. would like to know about your pet
Questions I will ask include: how does your cat or dog get along with other pets? What is their temperment when you are around or not around? Have they had their spring/summer flea and tick treatments? Are they up to date on their shots? Vet name and number? This helps me customize their care, walks and outings, and also helps me to meet them where they are at, so you and your pet feel at ease, comfortable and safe for a happy and enjoyable vacation for all!
A typical day
I will visit with your cats in their cat suite multiple times a day, as will my family. I will prep food two or three times per day (based on their routine), clean litter twice daily, brush them and keep their room tidy and hygienic. We will watch tv together, drink coffee (or wine!) and enjoy hanging out with relaxing music or a good book. Sometimes we do supervised play dates with my cat if you (and your cat) would appreciate that extra socialization. For dogs we walk every day, play, do food puzzles and snuggle on the couch.

Cat Care & Boarding Specialist!
Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Natalie, a lifelong Oakville community member who’s raised 4 dogs, 3 cats, 2 kids, and 1 husband (yep, in that order!). I offer personalized cat care in a natural home environment - no cages or crates - just their own sofa, toys and tvs 😊 Our goal is that when you go on vacation, your pets get one too! I also offer small dog care but we are fully booked for the summer. Our feline guests will get their very own cozy cat suite with a plushy couch, toys, cat tree, scratching post, hiding spots, water fountain, litter box with fresh litter, air purifier, calming cat music or videos, and a kitchenette where I prep their food and do their grooming (nails, brushing etc). They will get lots of cuddles, roaming time and playdates too. My goal is that your kitty feels comfortable, safe and happy, so you can enjoy your vacation, while they enjoy theirs! For our canine boarding, we specialize our care for toy and small breeds including Chihuahua, Maltese, Cockapoo, Yorkie, Papillon, Havanese, and toy oodles just to name a few. Dogs will live with us, like they do at your house and become part of the family. They will get daily walks, plushy dog beds, lots of potty breaks, enjoyable meal times with enrichment fun (puzzles, kongs etc), indoor and outdoor playtime and lots of snuggles! Accepting fall bookings only (summer is fully booked). I live in L6H (north Oakville) with clients from River Oaks, West Oak Trails, Glen Abbey, Oak Walk, Falgarwood and Joshua Creek, as well as Burlington, Mississauga, Hamilton and Milton. We are happy to do pick up and drop off to save you time when you are busy getting ready or returning from your trip I also offer stop in/drop ins to care for your pet at your home. I will change up their water, feed, clean litter and play with your furry family member. I am not taking new dog walk clients for spring/summer 2026 because I am over-capacity at the moment. As a side note, we’ve been a volunteer foster family for the Humane Society for many years and you are welcome to contact them for my reference. We have been welcoming pregnant cats for years, helping them through birth, and raising their kittens until they’re ready for adoption. It’s been a joy (and a bit of a zoo!), but we wouldn’t have it any other way. I'm well known in the Oakville area, since I've lived here all my life - I went to school, volunteer and work here, and I am active in the local community - who knows - maybe we've met! If not, I look forward to meeting you soon!

Reviews

Natalie looked after our 2 Burmese cats last month for the first time, and we hope that she will be able to take them for all of our vacations from now on! She has a beautiful home that has lots of space for her boarders and she clearly loves taking care of them. We did not worry about them at all while we were away (for 10 days), and they were very happy and relaxed when we picked them up. 5 stars for sure!

Jasper had an absolutely amazing time with Natalie. She took such good care of him and made sure he was eating and drinking since he was nervous. She kept us very up to date about how he was doing and we knew he was in excellent hands! Natalie really cared for him and he was spoiled! We won’t hesitate to take Jasper back to Natalie and highly recommend her! Thanks so much, Natalie! You are the best!!!

We got a vacation and so did Loki! We felt completely at ease knowing he was being so well cared for and loved while we were away. Natalie was incredibly responsive, sent us daily updates and photos, and always kept us in the loop, which gave us so much peace of mind. The space Natalie has created for the cats she boards is so thoughtful. Between the cat trees, water fountains, air purifiers, and all the little details, it’s clear how much she cares about making the cats comfortable and happy. Loki loves being outside and Natalie really went above and beyond by taking him out to explore and enjoy one of his favourite things. We could tell he was comfortable, spoiled and in great hands. We’d absolutely trust her with Loki again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable cat sitter!

My 2 cats stayed with Natalie for 2 days and I can see through videos, photos, texts that they were very content and enjoyed the attention from Natalie. She is wonderful and the rooms where the cats stayed were very (upscale) in human terms. I am so happy to have found her and this is my cats first stay. Now I am comfortable to take more trips and not worry about them knowing they are also having a good time! Thanks Natalie!
