Hello! Thanks for taking the time to read about me! I have been an avid animal lover since I was a child, and as I got older I started volunteering and working with them - going on 7 years now! I worked on the animal care team in Charleston SC, at the Charleston Animal Society. I walked, handled, medicated, vaccinated and cared for dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and breeds. I volunteered in San Diego at the Animal Pad - and became a shift lead! While at the Animal Pad I took classes on handling our 'Red' dogs, which are simply dogs with some behavior quirks 😉 I love working with the behavior dogs and learning how to keep them calm and happy! I now work at the San Diego Humane Society on the Animal Care team, caring for the dogs. I would love to meet your dog, and I promise I will care for them like they're my own (as I do for all my shelter dogs I take care of too!) I simply ask in advance of any behaviors - or any other safety concerns, I may need to be aware of to keep your pup, myself, and everyone around us safe and happy! I have cared for dogs from 5lbs - 140 lbs, no dog is too big for me I promise! I am certified in Fear Free, so I will always follow your dogs lead, and make sure they are comfortable while away from their humans 🤍 my work schedule changes often, so please message me regarding availability. It is difficult to update the rover calendar accurately!

Safety, trust & environment

While I can't have any dogs at my place, I am always willing to stay at the owners home. I keep an eye on the dogs, if we aren't playing or out on a walk, we are hanging out together! I will send you updates at least 2 times a day of your pet, and they also come with a few pictures!

Natalie took great care of my dog when I was away! Usually, my dog takes a few days to adjust back to normal after I return from a trip, but this time, she seemed like herself. I would definitely have her care for my dog again!

Schedule

Rover is 2nd to my full time job at the shelter. My schedule can sometimes be flexible, but most weeks I am available: Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon/Tues after 6pm Wed/Thurs - Available all day, unless already booked This is for drop in visits. My availability for pet sitting is all week, but I do have a full time job so your pet will have to be comfortable being left alone for 8-9 hrs a day, which I know is not ideal for every pet or pet parent.

Cats
0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
41 to 100 lbs
over 101 lbs
Natalie can host up to 2 drop-ins per day
Let me know if your dog is reactive to other dogs, or has any quirks you think would be helpful for me to know! I have dealt with reactive dogs, so it isn't a problem, I just want to be aware so everyone is safe! I am willing to do a prior meetup if your dog is stranger reactive, to introduce me properly and slowly! Same goes for cats if needed, I can come over prior to my booking to meet your cat and learn about them.
