Pet care experience

I Already Love Your Dog!

While I've lived with dogs almost my whole life, I adopted my own in 2015. She’s great with other dogs, though she guards resources, so initially she is a bit possessive. She’s happy when she can nap in peace! We also live with two cats - one is extremely curious and friendly with dogs, the other is…a cat. When your dog stays here, they’ll have opportunities to patrol the fences, manage squirrels, and bark at passers-by. They’re allowed just about everywhere in the house. We keep it pretty low-key here. Your dog will enjoy a ton of praise, along with lots of pets, scratches, and love.

Natalie was very loving and caring to my dog, and he seemed to enjoy his stay. I will leave him with her next time I need a sitter.

We left Ziggy with Natalie for the first time while we were away on a trip, and we had such a great experience. We met her ahead of time and she lives only about a mile from us. Right away we felt really comfortable with her. She was watching a few other dogs at the time, and Ziggy did incredibly well with them. Natalie has an amazing setup for dog sitting, and we love that she takes the dogs out for walks at the nearby state park trail. She also sent us updates throughout our trip without us even asking, which we really appreciated and made us feel so much better about being away from Ziggy for the first time. She’s very knowledgeable about dog behavior and seems genuinely attentive to each dog in her care. Ziggy came home happy, and we couldn’t have asked for a better first Rover experience. We’ll absolutely be booking with Natalie again!

Natalie was amazing. She took such great care of my dog and kept me updated with pictures and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that my dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. I really appreciate how reliable, kind, and attentive she was. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their pet. Thank you so much! 🐾🩵

Schedule

I am self-employed and enjoy a very flexible schedule. I wake up early to get a good start to the day, and value an organized schedule. The dogs eat breakfast between 5-6 am. Around 8 am, I like taking the dogs for a 2-3 mile walk in the morning (depending on weather, fitness, and interest level). They also have a large yard for fetch and running around. I live within walking distance of Baldwin dog park, so dogs with lots of energy may get an extra walk and play time! We do dinner between 5-6 pm, and lights are usually out between 10-11 pm.

Safety, trust & environment

I want to make your pet feel as comfortable and safe as I can. Your pets will have a clean, full water bowl, food on time, and an environment free of waste. I'm an expert at administering medication, as needed. If your pet needs some smooches and scratches, I have more than enough to spare. I will follow your instructions to the letter. During the summer, foxtails are a big problem in for East Bay dogs. I’m meticulous about keeping paws free of those little irritants!

Pets

A typical day

I love taking dogs on a pack walk on the bike trail and through the neighborhood - they’re usually around an hour. I have a huge front yard for fetch, as well. People are always walking and riding by, so there are ample opportunities for your dog to bark at strangers. Baldwin dog park is a short walk away, so high-energy dogs can get the zoomies out there, too.
