When I dog sit In the clients home I like to do “ Dog day trips” we go away from the house with a few toys and treats to explore a new walking path or field so they are distracted from the owners being gone. Hopefully the dog will become more comfortable with me and we can have more fun together the next time! If warm we will go to water!

Information Natalie G. would like to know about your pet

Please feel free to let me know any preferences or if they use any prong collar or e-collar tools! If your dog is E-collar trained they can enjoy off leash privileges. I will also have a 90ft long line on hand for use too. Treats will be provided if your dog does not have a food allergy.

A typical day

I know tons of trails whether we are looking for socialization or we can go to a trail where almost nobody would be! I know many places to explore where I myself used to own a reactive German shepherd, so I had to do some research for dog friendly hiking trails and I now like to use those areas for dogs that I take care of!

Pet care experience

I’ve grown up around dogs all my life being hands on with caring for them properly! Because of that I had made sure to become a certified dog trainer, I’ve worked in multiple dog daycare’s professionally learning dog first aid and CPR & have a certification. I own my own dog walking/sitting company and decided to join rover. Treating dogs like my own is my biggest priority, nobody wants to go on vacation and stress their loved pet(s) at home aren’t enjoying themselves which is why I make sure to accommodate each pet’s individual needs! I’ve dealt with MANY breeds and temperaments. I’m confident in handling dogs in groups or pairs or just one itself 😁.

Natalie has been so sweet and caring when we have needed drop in visits for my 2 dogs during the week we don’t use rover their for she sent us this through email but I’m more then happy to write a helpful testimonial for her profile to help show how great she is! My two dogs get very rambunctious when hearing natalie’s car pull into our driveway.

I have used natalie for pet services before she joined rover and I am writing a testimonial for her because, she has provided nothing but excellent care for my 4 dogs all at once always has a variety of treats and toys. Every time she comes over they are all very excited to see her jumping at the door all barking in excitement and she is excited to see them too. She has gone above what I had asked for, takes them on hikes all together or in pairs when she dog sits them, I know for a fact that my dogs are busy and fulfilled when being taken care of by natalie. I always get a handful of photos, videos along with updates about how they are eating and been doing throughout the stay.

Natalie is a dream come true . She is so good with our dog lucy! She gets so excited when she sees her and she makes lucy her priority between walks and adventure and treats. And the play time we wouldn't let anyone else watch her. She is also very respectful and professional . I have no worries when lucy is with Natalie! I highly recommend her !!!!

We hired Natalie to care for our two dogs while on vacation for a long weekend. We met Natalie and she seemed great , friendly and happy to care for the dogs. Natalie was supposed to arrive at 2 pm to let our puppy out. She arrived at 3:34 then left at 3:39. We aren’t even sure if she let the dogs outside to go to the bathroom. They were not given water or fed. She arrived back at our house at 8:05 and left at 8:32. She was hired for house sitting and spent a total of 32 minutes at our house. It’s border line animal abuse as she was instructed our puppy cannot stay in his crate more than 4 hours. We had to have our neighbor stop in to let Nick go to the bathroom as we heard crying on our cameras. Natalie used this point to say she felt unsafe that someone else entered the house. She came back the next morning at 4:35 AM then left at 7:02 then she quit and left us without care for our dogs. She caused us so much stress while we were away. I would not want anyone else to have to go through that. I believe she cares nothing about dogs and only about money. Rover was great in trying to help but they could not find a replacement. Extremely disappointed with Natalie’s lack of work ethic, empathy towards animals and disrespect.
