Pet care experience

Home Full Time!

I’m Natalie and I love dogs! I’ve had and connected with pups since I was a young child and even was accustomed to strays following me home on a regular basis. I also have experience with a wide variety of personalities, sizes, and breeds of pups and feel very comfortable around the many furry friends that live around here. As a full-time mom to two kids, aged nine and six, I’m home to supervise any puppy visitors as well as provide stimulating play and treats. You’ll also love that my children are gentle with and love dogs. My kids love to play fetch and can’t wait to cuddle new pups! We would be happy to host your furry family members, and make sure they feel right at home. Here at my new place, I prefer to host dogs under 70lbs and over the age of 12 months.

Natalie watched my Shih Tzu while I had to go to Redding. It was way too hot to take him and he has a cone on so I didn’t want to leave him alone. Natalie was available and did a wonderful job. I love that she is in Mount Shasta as I willl use her services again. Highly recommend. Your pets will be safe.

Natalie was super responsive and very friendly. This was our first experience with Rover and we could not have been happier. Natalie and her family greeted us at the door and took excellent care of our dog Ryder, which allowed us to explore Burney Falls and other sites where dogs were not allowed. I don’t know that we will pass through Mount Shasta again anytime soon, but if we did, we would schedule doggy daycare with Natalie.

Natalie and her kids made Moby feel very happy and easily able to let me leave him from the first instant. He was well cared for for the 8.5 hours he was there. Moby usually shows anxiety when we first leave him (even though he’s always fine after we have left) so this immediate rapport and happiness came as a surprise and big relief. I would recommend her to anyone.

Natalie was so kind, took amazing care of my dog Lina while I climbed Mt Shasta. She sent pictures and updates while I was gone and I didn’t have to worry about Lina once! Would 100% book again.

Schedule

I recently said goodbye to my rescue dog and best friend, Frank, an eleven-year-old Terrier Mix, after his battle with cancer. My family also has had rescue cats, so I am very experienced in the care of our feline friends, too! In addition to my personal experience with pups, I have completed two courses of obedience training and would be happy to share that knowledge with any of our guests.

Safety, trust & environment

I also understand how hard it is to be away from your pet and know that finding trustworthy, reliable, and kind care is difficult. As a pet sitter and person, I’m honest, kind and friendly. I will treat your dog like a member of the family, because that's what our pets are.

A typical day

On a stay with me, your pup will have fun! Because I’m home full-time, I can provide extra attention, exercise, care, and love to my furry visitors. Your pup will quickly find themselves at home with my kids and our two dogs, Bob and Frank. Your pup will have plenty of space to run and play outside, some agility equipment to play on, toys for fetch and tug-of-war, and lots of cuddles! Whatever your pup needs for a safe and healthy stay, I’ll provide.

Natalie can host up to 1 pet per night
Before a stay, I’d be happy to set up a meet and greet so you can get to know me and my family (and dogs) a little better. I always like to make sure my furry visitors get along with my two kids, aged one and four, and my pets. I also like to know about your pup’s normal schedule or routine, their favorite snacks and toys, as well as any medical issues or behavioral tendencies they might have. All dogs under 24 months will be subject to puppy rates.
