Wilson had a great time with Natalie and "the guys" -- her boyfriend and his friends who played football (or at least a good game of keep away) with Wilson. He came back exhausted in the best possible way, a sure sign he had lots of fun. Natalie kept us posted on walks and other adventures and even took him for a ride to Starbucks. Wilson wasn't forthcoming about whether he enjoyed a pup cup but I'd bet his puppy dog eyes convinced either her or the baristas there to make sure he was well compensated for his cuteness.

Schedule

Pet care is a significant part of my daily and weekly routine. I ensure a structured schedule that prioritizes the well-being of the pets in my care. My typical routine includes: Morning Routine: Early morning walks or playtime to ensure pets start their day with exercise and stimulation. Feeding breakfast and fresh water, along with administering any morning medications. Quick grooming session to check for any issues and ensure they look and feel their best. Midday Check-ins: Midday walks or outdoor playtime to break up the day and provide additional exercise. Midday meals or snacks if required, and a fresh water check. Brief health check to ensure pets are comfortable and healthy. Afternoon Routine: Another round of exercise or play, focusing on activities that engage their mind and body. Feeding dinner and fresh water, along with administering any evening medications. Spend quality time with the pets, offering affection and companionship. Evening Routine: Evening walks or relaxation time to wind down the day. Final health check and grooming if necessary. Ensure they are comfortable and settled for the night. Weekly Tasks: More extensive grooming sessions, including baths and nail trims. Thorough cleaning of pet areas, including bedding, toys, and feeding areas. Monitor and replenish supplies like food, medications, and grooming products. By integrating pet care into my routine, I ensure each pet receives consistent, attentive, and loving care throughout the day and week.

Here are some important things I’d like to know about your pet ahead of time to ensure they have the best possible care and experience: 1. Personality and Temperament: Are they shy, outgoing, energetic, or laid-back? Do they get along with other pets or children? 2. Routine and Preferences: What’s their daily schedule for feeding, walking, playtime, and naps? Do they have favorite toys, activities, or comfort items? 3. Health and Medical Needs: Do they have any allergies, medications, or medical conditions I should be aware of? Are they up to date on vaccinations? 4. Dietary Requirements: What, when, and how much do they eat? Are there any treats they love or foods they can’t have? 5. Behavioral Notes: Do they have any triggers, fears, or quirks (e.g., dislike of loud noises, separation anxiety, or leash pulling)? 6. Training and Commands: Are there specific commands they know or behaviors you’re working on, such as “sit,” “stay,” or “leave it”? 7. Emergency Info: Your vet’s contact information, preferred emergency clinic, and any backup contacts if needed. 8. Special Requests: Is there anything specific you’d like me to do, like extra cuddles, photo updates, or a particular way to approach their care? Having this information ensures I can provide the best care and keep your pet happy, comfortable, and stress-free!
