Welcome to my page, and thank you for your interest! I am a big dog lover and have an 11 year old of my own. She is very friendly and loving, but a little slower in her golden years. This is a child-free and smoke-free home in a modestly sized 3 bedroom house located in a safe, quiet, and suburban-ruralish neighborhood. Walk-throughs are welcomed. There is a front and backyard, however it is not fenced in. I have leads in the yard I put my dog on that let's her walk around supervised. I live 15 minutes from New Paltz and Minnewaska State Park, and about 20 minutes from Mohonk Mountain. If you're looking for more of a metropolitan area, my home is 15 minutes to Kingston where you'll find many local shops, and a 5 minute drive from the little town of Rosendale where you can park your car and walk or bike on the popular tourist destination of the rail trail. The trail extends through many beautiful towns and is worth while to check out! I have plenty of suggestions on things to do and where to eat if you're visiting our beautiful area. I have experience with dogs of all ages, size, and activity level as I have volunteered as a foster and kennel attendant over the years. For overnight guests, it is important your companion is crate trained and you bring enough food, treats, and a detailed schedule of their daily activities to ensure continuity of care. I work full time as a registered nurse, so my days of unavailability are typically my 12 hour shifts. In the event you're looking to book overnights and the possibility of it falling into a work day, it is important you and your companion are okay with my long day from 7AM-7:30PM.
