I am in clinics during fourth year and every two weeks I am in a different area of the hospital, which gives me slightly different hours. Generally I am free before 7am and after 5pm

A typical day
When walking dogs I walk them around their neighborhood and give them plenty of sniff time, and I follow their lead on if they want to walk less or more during the time that we have. During check-ins I play with dogs/cats if they want that, or we can just hang out and I love on them if they prefer that.

Pet care experience
I have had dogs and cats almost my entire life, and I love all animals, so I am open to taking care of a variety of pets. I have owned and taken care of dogs of all shapes and sizes, so I am familiar with a wide range of temperaments and needs. I also have experience taking care of dogs with special needs, as one dog I took care of was blind and had a brain tumor, so she needed extra assistance and medications. I am a fourth year vet student at OSU so I know how to administer insulin or other types of injections as needed.
