Pet care experience

Home from home dog boarding 🐾

I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your dog as if they were their own. My aim is to provide a calm, safe, and loving environment where every dog feels relaxed, happy, and part of the family. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I always take the time to get to know each dog’s routine, preferences, and individual needs. Whether your dog enjoys long walks and playtime or prefers a quieter pace, I’ll make sure they receive the care and attention that’s right for them. Your dog will enjoy a secure, well-fenced garden for supervised outdoor time, plenty of exercise, comfortable places to rest, and lots of affection throughout the day. I keep owners updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your dog is happy and well cared for. I know leaving your dog with someone new can feel daunting, which is why I like to arrange a meet and greet beforehand whenever possible. It gives us the chance to get to know each other, answer any questions, and make sure your dog feels comfortable before their stay. My goal is for every dog to feel completely at home and for every owner to have peace of mind while they’re away. I look forward to welcoming your dog and giving them the same care, kindness, and attention I’d want for my own.

A real home from home for my Diego. A great safe environment and personal care which gives total peace of mind whilst away. I think he had a better time than me on holiday. He is already looking forward to the next visit!

Skye is quite nervous around new people, but settled very quickly when arriving at Natalie's. She looked super happy, exploring the big garden and paddling in the canal next door. Thank you very much!

What a find Natalie is. Truly a star sitter. Took care of my little man so well. Sent me lots of pictures and updates. I could see my from them and Natalie's updates, he was having a whale of a time. Slotted into their life and was treated like one of the family. I can't praise her enough for her kindness and at short notice too.

I would highly recommend Natalie, the initial communications was really clear and easy. From the minute I took Mela to Natalie’s it felt welcoming and kind , space and time for Mela to get used to the garden etc before I left, I felt very confident and comfortable leaving Melanin Natalie’s care. Thank you

Safety, trust & environment

Dogs in my home are treated like part of the family and cared for in a safe, loving environment. I’m lucky to have a large, secure garden and a gated property, giving dogs plenty of space to enjoy supervised outdoor time. I share my home with my own friendly dog, Harley, who enjoys the company of other dogs. To keep the environment calm and ensure every dog receives plenty of attention, I only care for a small number of guest dogs at any one time. I maintain a consistent routine with walks, feeding, playtime, and rest, and always follow each dog’s usual home routine as closely as possible to help them settle in and feel at home.

Pets

A typical day

A typical day starts with breakfast around 7am, followed by a morning walk along the canal where dogs can enjoy plenty of time to explore, sniff and take in all the interesting smells. After our walk, we head home for some well-earned relaxation, with time for a cosy snooze before enjoying playtime in the secure garden. Throughout the day there are lots of cuddles, attention and companionship — dogs are treated as part of the family here. Every dog has their own personality and routine, so I tailor the day to suit their individual needs, whether they love long walks and exploring or prefer a gentler pace with plenty of comfort and company. I’m happy to follow each dog’s usual routine, including accommodating dogs who require more than two meals or specific feeding times. Dinner is served in the evening, followed by another walk and a peaceful night settling down in a safe, calm home environment.

Before your dog’s stay, I’d love to know all about their usual routine, personality and any little quirks that make them unique. Please let me know their feeding schedule (including if they need more than two meals a day), exercise needs, likes and dislikes, sleeping habits, and any important information such as medications, allergies or special requirements. It’s also helpful to know how they are around other dogs, as I care for dogs from different households from time to time and have my own friendly dog. This helps me make sure every dog feels comfortable, safe and settled during their stay.
