Pet care experience

From Hooves to Paws

hello all my name is Natalie and I would love to watch your fur babies. Your babies will be treated as if they were my own. We have two resident dogs that are dog social and love making friends. Contact me and let see how I can help you. Currently I have completely open availability.. even short notice, weekends, over nights, holidays and multi day house sitting. I have a flexible schedule. Thank you I have my two dogs but do not bring them with me to clients homes unless a prior meet and greet is done. I also ensure to wipe down all surfaces after my stay to ensure Covid safety . I have animal CPR and first aid training as well as animal nutrition. I have flexibility with rates and availability and am happy to accommodate any situation or need. I currently do work in the animal welfare field and have experience with all breeds, sizes and behaviors, so no pet is turned away.

Dog Walking • Dec 04, 2023

Natalie did a great job. We have a recent rescue who has a lot of trauma and no training yet, and of course we are working with him daily to try to get him sorted out. But it’s a lot, and it’s hard to find someone who can handle him — he’s 70 pounds! Literally other dog sitters have met him and felt overwhelmed or intimidated. Natalie was fantastic. She has a ton of dog experience because she works with dogs daily as her profession, and it really shows. She was the perfect combination of compassionate, patient and firm to handle our tornado pup. I would use her again in a heartbeat (in fact we have already booked her) and I’d recommend her to anyone.

Natalie was great, the dogs bonded with her right away. We were able to enjoy our trip knowing they were well taking care of. Natalie sent pictures often. She also took great care of the house and plants.

House Sitting • Feb 14, 2022

Natalie was booked for a ‘in home’ stay to watch our 5 month old puppy. It was understood through conversation and Lola’s pet profile that she shouldn’t be left alone for more than 2 hours outside, and only up to 4 hours in her crate unless it was night bed time. We arrived home last night to our back door screen completely shredded, our patio furniture cover shredded, and half of the fence from the bottom ruined. Never mind the cost to replace these three items, but the higher concern being that Lola was obviously not stayed with as Natalie led us to believe. AND, thank goodness Lola didn’t hurt herself with the damage she was left to do! To top it off, Natalie obviously didn’t notice or care because she didn’t bother to mention the wood splinters, screen shredding or canvas shreds! And left it for us to come home to and clean up. I also know she wasn’t here thanks to my neighbor with cameras. She didn’t walk her either. I gave her a star for at least feeding her. I am highly disappointed and unfortunately do NOT recommend Natalie.

Natalie was great, dogs appeared very happy and had new bandanas when we arrived home. She sent updates over the two days. Left us a nice note. Would recommend her highly.

Natlie is fantastic. She has taken great care of my pups, I get pictures and videos. I know the dogs are well loved, because they aren't so crazy when I get home lol. She even brought in my mail and trashcans without being asked. I highly recommend Natalie as she goes above and beyond!

Safety, trust & environment

With over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for pets, I provide reliable, compassionate pet sitting for dogs, cats, and other beloved companions. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I treat every pet in my care like family. My experience includes daily walks, feeding routines, administering medications, overnight care, puppy and senior pet support, and keeping pets comfortable in their own homes while their owners are away. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and needs, so I always take the time to learn their routines and provide personalized care. Safety, trust, and communication are my top priorities. I make sure pets feel secure and loved while also keeping owners updated with regular messages and photos for peace of mind. Whether your pet needs a long walk, playtime, cuddles, or simply a calm and caring presence, you can count on me to provide dependable and attentive care every time.

Pets

A typical day

day starts with dogs and making sure they feel comfortable and safe. Morning usually begins with feeding time, fresh water, and the first walk of the day to help them burn off energy and start their routine. After the walk, there is time for play, attention, and making sure each dog gets the care they need. Some dogs enjoy fetch or tug toys, while others prefer cuddles or relaxing nearby. Throughout the day I monitor their behavior, make sure they stay hydrated, and keep their environment clean and comfortable. Midday often includes another potty break or walk, along with enrichment activities or quiet time depending on the dog’s age and personality. Puppies may need more frequent bathroom breaks and supervision, while senior dogs may prefer a slower pace and extra care. In the evening, dogs are fed again, followed by another walk and more play or relaxation time. I also make sure they settle comfortably for the night. Throughout the day I provide updates to owners so they know their pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.
