Outside of Rover, I am a part-time college student. Classes are primarily conducted online/asynchronous. Should you have a need for an extended daycare visit, please ask about rate details. If you have several pets in the home, pricing can be revisited. Regarding overnights - I keep a time log of when they were last out, fed, medicated, etc.

Caregiving will be provided in the owner's home. I am COVID vaccinated if that is of concern. My own animals stay with family so my attention is undivided for your companion. I send daily updates, plenty of photos, and my focus is that the pet feels stress-free by applying the 5 Freedoms Rule for animal wellness. I make sure to offer fresh water throughout the day, as well as plenty of socializing & outdoor time, weather permitting. Dog walking note: In the event of high heat+humidity or low temps+windchill - this may require walks to be reduced or cancelled for the day and replaced with additional yard time+play inside. When I leave them alone, I like to put on music or TV and offer enrichment solutions if available. I take the nature of this work seriously (this is not just a "hobby") and recognize how much you are entrusting the sitter when you leave them at home with your loved ones. Thanks for giving my profile a glance and I hope to hear from you! ~Graduated ASPCA & Animal Humane Society certified workshops and welfare conferences ~Trained in AAHA fear-free handling protocols ~Trained in formal fitting & application of the Gentle Leader, Martingale Collar, and Easy Walk Harness ~Trained in proper animal transport protocols ~ASPCA certified behavior training, including canine+feline habitat management
Information Natalie B. would like to know about your pet
All I need to know is a little bit about their background (shy/fearful, rescue, stray, cruelty case or puppy mill survivor, etc.) This is so that I can try to be aware of any triggers, such as threshold issues, to help ease your pet and keep them comfortable. Also crucial to loop me in on any food bowl or other resource guarding behaviors, or if your pet might be leash or dog reactive. Always good to note any escape artists or impairment with vision and hearing. If you have any breeds that are brachycephalic (flat snout) I have a pup like that myself, so I am rather careful about monitoring them and limiting weather exposure. For kitties I do like to know about dietary sensitivity, if they are prone to chronic ocular or URI issues, any litterbox issues, FIV+ or FELV+, etc. Notify me if your pet has any record of separation anxiety, territorial behavior, or bite history. This helps set up both the animal and myself for success. ~Detailed written instructions ~Emergency and Veterinary info, permissions ~Allergies, medications, restrictions, etc. ~Crating info, if applicable ~Previous pet sitter or boarding experiences ~Notify me if your pet has recently been around other animals, such as boarding or the groomer (due to canine virus protocols) House Sitting: All pets staying in the home should be listed separately for Rover insurance. Be sure to indicate if your pet requires more constant care - time away restrictions for specific needs such as meds, frequent potty breaks, mid-day feeds, or separation anxiety. On average, time away is acceptable around 4-6 hours max. Typically it is assumed that there will be up to two walks totaling one hour per day. If your pup requires much longer or additional walks, please notify me of these care details in advance. Note that overnights are rated by the overall number of days reserved (partial or full fee for the final date of stay). Standard rates do not cover constant care requirements or travel distance that is far outside of the service range and will be modified accordingly. Please reach out if you have any questions. Rover rates/fees can be a little confusing at times, and as sitters we do not see what the owner ultimately receives for billing. Thank you!

Dog-walking is one of my favorite aspects and I love playing fetch! I also like to integrate enrichment solutions if they are made available. Please notify me of any walking restrictions or dietary concerns. I'm very much a "floor person" and always try to be hands-on and talkative with the animals. Playing with toys will happen frequently if that is their thing. When staying overnight, the pets are more than welcome to sleep in the guest room/in bed with me :) I'm a major cat lover <3 I'm a stickler for keeping litterboxes clean... and have been known to warm up even the most skeptical of cats. I also like to integrate feline enrichment if available. Critters typically require consistent time outside of their cage, in addition to plenty of fresh hay+water. Several chew and forage options should always be made available.

Pet care experience
Cross-trained caregiver with direct experience in many capacities. Aside from Rover, I have an extensive background in the field of animal welfare, including training in Veterinary services & behavior modification+rehabilitation. Due to previous employment as an Animal Technician & Veterinary Assistant in the shelter & rescue setting, I also gained skills in specialty handling methods for animals from all types of backgrounds. Thus far the animals that I have worked with include dogs, cats, critters (specialize in rabbit care), reptiles/amphibians, chickens, ducks, horses, wildlife, and so on. Whether you require detail-oriented attention for dietary & medical needs or have a high energy pup, I am open to the job! **Currently I am pursuing the GoodPup Behavior Training Certification to supplement my Rover profile. Reviews

Natalie always does such a wonderful job when taking care of our cat Lucy. She is very attentive and makes sure that Lucy has everything that she needs. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.

Natalie took great care of all 3 pups this time (our two plus our daughters). They have definitely bonded with Natalie and she always does such a great job!

Pictures enough to know she took the time to connect with the cats and make sure they were happy and healthy!

Natalie took great care once again of Brownie and Adora!
