I have had pets all of my life. I am comfortable around cats and dogs. I am active and enjoy outdoor spaces so very happy to take dogs on extended walks. I can drive and I live close to Heaton park. My family often entrust me to look after their animals because I am free most weekends and keen to help.

Wouldn’t have wanted to leave my baby girl 🐱 in anyone’s hands other than Natalie’s as I went away on holiday. It was my first time using Rover having recently moved with no friends or family nearby and her responses were especially prompt - we got a meet and greet arranged in no time and my cat is usually timid and shy around new people but she was relaxed around Natalie, which was a really good sign. Natalie was kind enough to check-in before the visit and I looked forward to her check-in updates as they were thorough and included plenty of pictures. If I were to go away again, I’d definitely look to use Natalie as well as recommend her to anyone looking for a friendly face to take care of your pets! No doubt you’ll feel at peace knowing they’re being well looked after.

This was the second time looking after our cat, Genghis. Natalie is great at communicating, including sending photos and a description of her visits, which really keeps us at ease that he's being well looked after. Would highly recommend.

Schedule
I am a primary school teacher in the week so happy to offer my services from Friday evening to Sunday night. If you’re in a pinch and need my services in the week, I can pop over at 6:30am and after 4:30pm. During weekends and school holidays I am usually around continuously so can be very flexible with my timings. Please message me if you have any questions so I can accommodate your needs as best as possible. I don’t drink or smoke and I am a physically active person so enjoy the outdoors and walking.

I live in an apartment. My preference is to travel to you as that is where the animal is comfortable however I am happy to host small dogs and cats at my apartment. They are welcome on the sofa and bed if that is part of their regular routine.
A typical day
I am a teacher by day so I can usually look after pets during the weekends and over the school holidays. For week day bookings, I can meet and greet and do drop ins after school, which is from 4:30pm onwards. I love to go on walks and exercise the animals in an outdoor space like a park or woodland. Every morning I am out the door early for runs and I am used to taking furry friends with me if suitable for their needs.

- I am open to all ages and needs of dogs and cats. If your pet is anxious and needs a person present then I am happy to be that person. If they are a bundle of energy and need a good long walk in a park, I am also happy to offer this. Just let me know what your animal needs and I will do my best to support in offering this.
