I’m naturally very patient, gentle, and attentive with animals. I genuinely love spending time with them; observing them, petting them, giving them massages, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable. Being around animals brings me a lot of joy, and dogs and cats often warm up to me quickly and love to cuddle. When I care for pets, I focus on what helps them truly thrive. That means daily walks, playtime, enrichment like snuffle games and stimulation, and plenty of affection and attention. My goal is always to make pets feel relaxed, loved, and secure while their owners are away. I’ve had animals in my life since I was very young. My family adopted a small poodle when I was about 6 years old, and she stayed with us until she passed away recently from old age. Growing up with her taught me the importance of loyalty and caring for an animal throughout its entire life. I’ve also cared for many different kinds of animals. I worked for two weeks at an animal sanctuary helping care for rescue animals, including several rescue dogs. I’ve cat-sat for two cats for a full month in Maryland, and their owners were surprised by how quickly the cats bonded with me. I’ve also cared for reptiles like a bearded dragon, and I’m the person my family relies on whenever they need someone trustworthy to watch their pets while they’re away.
