I have had many cats in my car over the years, from tiny prematurely born tube fed kittens, to stiff and deaf 21 year old seniors. I am very familiar with Devon Rex, Siamese, Oriental, Sphinx, MainCoon, Abyssinian, British Shorthair, Ragdoll and all kinds of mix breeds. I understand the challenges of no fur, long fur, curly fur and chamois kitties life and special treatments they require. I have no issues with trimming their nails, bathing them, Combing and doing any beauty treatment required including nail clipping. I am happy to syringe feed, give medication orally or Subcutaneously if required. Happy to learn any type or medical/ feeding regime. I am happy to feed raw and can prepare the mix myself with your ingredients and recipe. I don’t mind whole pray feeding as long as the animals you obtained for this purpose were humanely euthanised and come from reputable distributor. During the visit I would clean the litter and hoover/ mop around it, clean the water bowl and provide with fresh water- would always set up a second drinking bowl; would feed the diet and amount you want at the frequency required. Let me know if your pet need to eat at a very specific time- for example 7:30 am due to medication taken with the food needing to be administered at the same time. I am happy to feed kitties with megaoesophagus. I would then spend the rest of the time playing, grooming, cuddling your pet. If your kitty comes to stay at mine, I would separate my kitties upstairs and your kitty will have access to the full downstairs(2rooms and kitchen/bathroom) after they acclimatise with time. There will be no other pet at the same space during their stay. All floors and flat surfaces will be cleaned with pet friendly solution and all soft furnishings cleaned before and after their visit ( any soft furnishings my end). In essence I will Make sure your pet is in friendly and healthy environment. I work from home so they will stay with me 24 hrs a day with breaks when I go to tend to fur friends upstairs. We have a courtyard to look at and front of the house with strategically placed fruit tree in front frequented by birds. There is an easy way to the windowsill as well as a comfy fluffy cat bed and a warm sofa with blankets. Cat tree provides needed elevation required to judge the human and plethora of sterilised cat toys will keep your mini hunter occupied. I also provide hot water bottles in covers for warmth should your cat be hairless or elderly or just extra. Whatever they want I am the servant. For safety, I suggest you bring your cat or I come pick it up in your cat’s pet carrier. Provide enough food for the amount of time you would like me to look after it- cats are very sensitive to dietary changes so I suggest not changing the variety they had before you go away. I am looking forward to meeting your most loyal companion (or companions if you bring more than one or cat and the doggy or scaly/ feathery friend).
