Pet care experience

love dogs-fenced yard-run with them

I’m a law student at RWU with a flexible schedule and would love to help care for your pets! I recently finished a three-week dog-sitting stay in the owners’ home and can provide references. I love going on walks and spending time with dogs, and I’m also a dog mom myself to a dachshund back home in Texas

Safety, trust & environment

I only provide care in the client’s home, which I find helps pets feel more comfortable and relaxed in their familiar environment. When I’m in someone’s home, I treat it with the same respect I would my own. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding routines, walk schedules, playtime preferences, and any special needs or medications. I make sure pets get lots of attention, exercise, and affection, and I always do my best to keep them happy and stress-free while their owners are away. Communication is important to me, so I’m happy to send updates and photos during visits as well!

Schedule

I'm home for the summer from school and have pretty open availability, which means I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m flexible throughout the day and can easily adjust to meet the needs of different pets and schedules—whether that’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening playtime. Taking care of animals is something I truly enjoy, so it fits naturally into my routine this summer.

Before watching any pet, it’s really important for me to know their usual routine, energy level, and any special needs they might have. I’d also like to know about any medical conditions, allergies, or medications they take, as well as how they usually do on walks or around other animals. Knowing their likes, dislikes, fears (like thunderstorms or loud noises), and any behavior quirks helps me give them the best care possible and keep them comfortable while you're away. The more I know, the better I can tailor my care to make them feel safe and happy!
