Animals have always been at the center of my life — both dogs and cats are family to me, not just pets. Caring for them isn’t something I switch off from; it’s simply who I am. Every time I go on holiday, I make sure I’m prepared — I’ve even carried a 6kg bag of animal food in my rucksack while hiking up mountains, just to ensure animals are fed and cared for (with photos to prove it). I share my life with my own cat and understand feline behavior deeply, from quiet communication to respecting boundaries. I’ve trained my cat using positive reinforcement, including recall, sit, paw, high five, and spin. I also have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels, always with patience, structure, and love. I currently volunteer at Llys Nini Cattery, where I’m surrounded by cats daily and care for a wide range of personalities — from shy and nervous to confident and playful. Every animal I look after receives the same devotion, respect, and attention I give my own.
