It’s also helpful to understand their personality, energy level, triggers, and comfort preferences, especially whether they enjoy social interaction or prefer space and quiet. Any leash or walking behavior notes, separation anxiety tendencies, and emergency contact & vet information are also important so I can provide safe, consistent, and personalized care.
A typical day
A typical day with the pets I care for includes morning feeding, fresh water, and any needed medications, followed by walks for dogs and litter box care for cats. I provide playtime, attention, and companionship based on each pet’s personality and energy level, along with additional walks or check ins throughout the day. I make sure routines are kept consistent and send updates to owners so they feel at ease while away.

I've been dog walking, dog sitting, and cat sitting for over 10 years and have owned both dogs and cats my entire life. I currently have a 1 year old dog, so I have recent hands on experience with puppies, including training reinforcement, exercise needs, and maintaining routines.
