I would not recommend booking with Nardia and will echo Michele's previous review that suggests you schedule a meet and greet before leaving your pet in her care. We were so uncomfortable with the situation at hand that we ultimately did not leave our dog at Nardia's but rather took him home after speaking in our car for five minutes. While my partner and I were speaking in the car, we could hear our dog whining and barking from the unfenced backyard where he had immediately been tied to a lead that was attached to a loose piece of concrete and left alone with two other dogs he had never met. Additionally, we had arrived at 12:30 in the afternoon and were told that the other dogs (who we had not been told would be present) were just being let out for the firs time to go to the bathroom and have breakfast. Nardia did not greet our dog, our dog was not introduced to the two other dogs, and Nardia did not appear to have any sort of schedule (feeding, playing, etc.) for any of the dogs on premises. We ended up canceling a night at a hotel for a close friend's wedding because we were so uncomfortable with the accommodations and overall interaction.

Nardia was right on top of communication. She took very good care of my pup 🐶

Please schedule a meet and greet before leaving your pet with her. This Rover does not seem to actually take care of the dog. The house has open paint cans and cardboard for flooring so the dogs can just pee anywhere. We felt unsure leaving him there but felt we had no choice because we needed to leave for vacation. We thought as long as we get updates and can contact her we should be okay. We were unable to get in contact with her while checking in on vacation. (Texted and called several times) Rover was unable to get in contact with her. We had to leave our trip early to check on the welfare of the dog. When we finally got in contact with her she said “it was because her phone screen is cracked” - no ownership or accountability. We were so worried something happened. I have used so many Rovers before but now I never will because you never know who is taking care of your pet while you are gone. I don’t understand how there are any positive reviews and now it makes me doubt any Rover even with reviews. Wasted money on the Rover, hotels, vacation days, and missed a trip of a lifetime with loved ones all due to a bad pet sitting situation. Don’t make the same mistake.

Nardia was friendly, communicated well, and very flexible with my last minute puppy boarding needs! I needed a place for my puppy to stay within two hours for the night, and Nardia opened her home for my puppy and was patient and comforting with her. Highly recommend.
