Safety, trust & environment

We don’t currently have any pets in our home, so visiting pets receive my full attention. We live in a pet-friendly apartment complex with an on-site dog park, providing a safe and welcoming environment for walks and playtime. However, our children may occasionally visit with their pets on weekends or during the holidays, so we prefer dogs that are friendly and comfortable around other animals.

Please note the following requirements: We generally do not accept puppies under 1 year old. However, they may be considered if they are fully house-trained, well-behaved, and have no significant behavioral issues. We do not accept senior dogs aged 12 or older. All dogs must be fully house-trained, non-aggressive, and comfortable around other dogs, as other dogs may occasionally be present during their stay. We are unable to accept dogs with unstable medical conditions, significant care needs, or a high risk of requiring emergency veterinary treatment. A properly fitted harness is required for all boarding stays. We cannot accept dogs without one. Please also provide pet-safe wipes for your dog’s stay. Please share all relevant health and behavioral information with us before booking.

A typical day

Each day is tailored to your dog’s energy level, routine, and comfort. We usually begin with an early morning walk, followed by breakfast at a relaxed pace. Afterward, we enjoy quiet time at home, whether that means playing with toys, working on puzzle toys, cuddling, or simply lounging together. In the early afternoon, we head out for another walk. We have several routes to choose from and adjust the length depending on the weather and your dog’s needs. On especially hot or rainy days, we choose shorter, safer routes. On pleasant days, or when your dog has extra energy, we may drive to a nearby trail or another suitable outdoor area for a longer adventure. A visit to a dog park may also be considered when it is appropriate for the dog. We are always cautious around unfamiliar dogs and prioritize safety. In the evening, we return home for a calm and relaxing routine. Your dog will receive their second meal according to their usual schedule, followed by gentle grooming if they enjoy it. At night, they can settle into a comfortable sleeping area, and dogs that are used to sleeping with people are welcome to sleep with us. Throughout the stay, we make sure every dog receives plenty of attention, companionship, exercise, rest, and affection so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved.

Pet care experience

Call me Joe. My wife and I love animals. We’ve cared for pets our entire life—dogs, cats, birds, and even a chameleon. Originally from Japan, we're skilled at training pets through hands-on experience. We're especially patient with puppies and attentive to each pet’s unique needs. A naturally tidy and organized person, we keep your home and pets happy, safe, and cared for. We share responsibilities together. I usually handle the dog walks, while my wife not only helps me, but she also brings comfort to pets.

Naotake took great care of Monny while we were away. He was very thoughtful, communicative, and kept us updated throughout her stay. Monny can be a picky eater and is sensitive to heat, but he paid close attention to her needs and made us feel at ease. We especially appreciated his kindness and the detailed updates. We would definitely trust him with Monny again. Highly recommend!

Monny had a great first daycare experience! Thank you for taking such good care of her and for keeping me updated throughout the day. I really appreciated the photos and communication. It was clear that Monny was comfortable and well cared for. She came home happy and slept soundly afterward, which tells me she had a full and enjoyable day. Thank you again, and I look forward to boarding with you in the future!

I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and loving dog sitter! I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog Scamper received! Scamper was comfortable, happy, and well cared for the entire time. Thank you for being so wonderful!
