Safety, trust & environment
I'll take care to chat with you and learn about your animal's needs. I live with my partner (also a huge dog lover!) in a flat very nearby to both holyrood park and smaller local parks, so can cater walks to how social or adventurous or energetic your dog is. If I am in your home I will be very respectful and careful.

Information Naomi S. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know about your dogs food habits and activity levels, as well any specific needs or behaviours that will help me to make your dog as comfy and happy as possible.
A typical day
My days are very adaptable and I'd love to chat with you about what your pet enjoys the most. I know that dogs need both mental and physical stimulation, and love playing games and going out on walks exploring the local parks. I also run a few times a week and am happy to take your doggo out with me if that's something they'd like! Saying all of that, if your dog is older, injured or tired, I love a chill hang out on the sofa with just a quick jaunt to the park now and then as much as the next person!

Pet care experience
Hello! I'm Naomi, a freelance illustrator living here in central Edinburgh. I'm just getting started on Rover and am looking forward to making some furry friends. I grew up surrounded by dogs, everything from a pug/poodle cross to spaniels to a massive bull mastiff! When I moved to Edinburgh for university, I lived with a gorgeous staffy who I helped care for and still miss dearly. After that, I spent a few years in North Wales in a house/cat-sitting arrangement, looking after two lovely cats, Kipper and Syd. Now I'm back in Edinburgh and missing having furry friends around, so I'm looking to pick up some dog walking and sitting work (and I'm happy to look after cats too!). I have a flexible schedule and can tailor visits to whatever your pet needs, whether that's a calm cuddle on the sofa or a proper energetic walk. Looking forward to meeting your pets!

Reviews
Naomi has watched our 12-year-old mixed-breed dog on several occasions when we've been out of town, and I honestly can't recommend her enough. She's caring, attentive, and it's clear she genuinely loves having him around. I'm half-convinced he gets better care with her than he does with us! Between the cuddles, regular walks, and the careful attention she gives an older dog, we never worry when he's in her hands. She also sends us tons of photos and updates while we're away. Naomi is kind, reliable, and treats our dog like her own. We're so grateful to have found her!
