Naomi has again been a fantastic companion and carer for Ziggy. I collected him after his day out and he was clearly very happy in the company of the family, he didn't want to leave! I can tell he's been a priority throughout the day and always comes home feeling thoroughly spoilt. Ziggy receives genuine time and attention; he's not simply being supervised. He's included in family life, played with, fussed over and cared for as if he were their own.

A very short notice booking, I was incredibly grateful to Naomi for taking my booking. Ziggy had a wonderful time with her and the family. He was clearly very well looked after, with his happiness and welfare clearly a top priority for her. He was exercised and fed to our exact specifications and we were shared many pictures of his adventures over his short stay. I would highly recommend Naomi to look after your beloved pets, thank you so much!

Doggy Day Care • mag 08, 2026

Naomi was quick to respond to what was a last minute request. We managed a lovely meet and greet which put me at total ease to leave Dougie with her. I know Dougie loved his day as he was a tired boy when he got home. The photos during the day made me smile ands also relax knowing he was having a great time. I will definitely be using Naomi again and can totally recommend.

Naomi took such wonderful care of puppy. From the moment we dropped him off, it was clear he felt comfortable and settled. She treated him like one of the family, giving him so much attention and care. It was really reassuring knowing he was in such good hands, and she made sure he had everything he needed. We wouldn’t hesitate to leave him with Naomi again - highly recommend!

My dog Riya had the best time with Naomi and her family. She went on lots of walks and adventures. I received daily updates with photographs which was very reassuring and great to see her enjoying g her walks and settling in. I was concerned at first, as it is the first time she has been left with people she didn’t know, but I needn’t have worried. I can thoroughly recommend Naomi to anyone wanting a dog sitter.

Safety, trust & environment

My love of animals began in early childhood and, as an older child, I took my responsibility for walking neighbourhood dogs very seriously! Through my teens I volunteered at rescue kennels and catteries, and took every opportunity to further my knowledge through work experience at sanctuaries, veterinary practices, and within the pet care industry. I later completed a Diploma in Animal Care and an MA dissertation focused on Animal Assisted Therapy. Dogs staying with us are cared for as part of the family in a calm, home environment with lots of supervision, companionship, and attention throughout the day. I always aim to follow each dog’s usual routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and settled while in our care. Safety, well being and individual needs are always my priority. We have a secure, fenced garden with plenty of opportunities for play, along with access to lots of lovely walks on our doorstep where outings are unhurried, enriching, and never rushed because we know how much dogs enjoy sniffing and exploring.

A typical day

Every dog is different, some love to play, stay busy, and be involved in everything we’re doing, while others are happiest with a quieter day, a gentle brush, and plenty of cuddles. We always take time to get to know each dog properly so we can tailor their stay to what suits them best. We spend lots of time outdoors, enjoy relaxed walks, play and of course plenty of fuss and companionship throughout the day. We have two dog savvy, respectful children who are very used to being around both working dogs and rescue dogs, and absolutely adore meeting new canine friends. I know that some dogs settle immediately, while others need a little more time, patience, and reassurance- and that’s absolutely fine. One of the loveliest parts of boarding is seeing returning dogs bound back through the door and settle themselves in, completely at ease as though they’re home again.

I’ll ask about your dog’s usual routine, including the things they enjoy, anything they dislike, whether they’re used to curling up on the sofa, where they prefer to sleep, feeding times, walking habits, and any medical or additional care needs. It’s also helpful to know whether they are used to a crate or prefer free rein of the home. Please let me know if your dog is anxious, nervous, or reactive in any situations so I can help them feel as comfortable and supported as possible during their stay. I’ll also need the details of the veterinary practice your dog is registered with. Unfortunately, I’m unable to accommodate dogs with incontinence, destructive or aggressive tendencies or dogs that resource guard.
