UM student and major dog lover!
I am a lifelong dog owner and have two adorable pups back home that I would do anything for. I grew up learning to take care of our family's dogs, helping with walking, bathing, feeding, and even potty training them. I also tagged along to tons of vet visits, learned how to give medication and allergy shots, and how to care for our dogs as they got older and needed more physical support like walking aids. I have experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments, from playing with hyper puppies to caring for gentle older dogs. Whether your pup needs a walk, playtime, or special attention, I’ll provide the care they need and and follow any instructions to keep your pets feeling happy and loved .

When I take care of pets, whether at my place or at a client’s home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and have a lot of fun! For dogs, I ensure they have plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and playtime. I stick to their usual routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walking times, and any special instructions or preferences they might have, like specific commands or favorite toys. I keep a close eye on them and provide lots of positive reinforcement and attention to help them feel happy and safe. With cats, I keep things calm and make sure their litter box is clean, food is ready, and they have comfortable spots to rest. I’ll play with them if they’re up for it, but I try to respect their space as best as possible. I prioritize the pet’s well-being, paying close attention to their mood, body language, and needs, and I’m happy to provide updates to keep the owners informed and at ease.

Naomi is excellent with dogs. She is naturally patient and loving and has spent her entire life living with large dogs. She has years of experience walking and caring for her own Bernese Mountain Dogs as well as friends’ dogs since her early teen years. I would hire her any time to care for and walk my dogs.
Dogs have been central to Naomi’s life since birth. She grew up in a household with multiple 100 pound dogs and she learned from an early age how to train, walk, and care for our dogs. Most important she fills the lives of our dogs with joy and love, intuitively responding to the dog’s inherent desire to play. Naomi has always been observant to the dogs needs and safety, even from an early age. When one of our dogs got into a bread basket by mistake, it was four year old Naomi who informed us that because there was raisin bread in the basket we needed to call the vet and make sure everything would be ok. Naomi loves dogs of all sizes and types and will give great care and attention to any dog she walks.

Schedule
I am currently a full time student, so I am excited to get a break from studying and spend time with your sweet animals! I am available in afternoons, evenings and weekends for walks and visits. I am available for dog sitting on weekends (Friday-Monday) and may be able to accommodate weekday dog sitting with enough notice.
