I’ve had pets since I was 8 years old. The longest I’ve had a cat was almost 20 years named Kip. He past due to diabetes. I was able to care for his medical condition at 17 1/2 years old and he was able to live 2 more years with continuous medication and care. I currently have 3 cats. One tabby named Remey who has separation anxiety from me (due to the passing of his brother Kip and his cousin BK (who was 14 when she passed) who I took in from my brother who couldn’t care for her) and two sisters from the same litter. They are 2 years old. Valentina who is a short haired gray and white tuxedo and Manila who is a long haired Calico. Currently I do have to medicate Remey with the vets direction due to his episodes. He doesn’t like change. During his episodes he tends to hide and have back spasms which causes him to have accidents outside of the litter box. I have created a safe space for him only to relax and unwind during his episodes.
