Breed or size doesn't matter as much as being well-behaved, trained and well socialized! It's always helpful to know each dog's quirks -- whether they do well saying hello to new dogs, or prefer to stay close to their humans; any anxiety triggers, if they're a runner, etc.

I love going for long walks in the Presidio, which I consider my backyard. One direction is Mountain Lake park which can take you past Lobos Creek all the way to the beach. The other direction takes you several ways to Crissy Field where I'm always envious watching people playing fetch with their dogs. I would love some canine company!

I am a cat lady who also loves dogs. I love my cat, but also miss having a dog to run around with. I had a beagle growing up, it's definitely a different kind of relationship. I am very patient and have a calm demeanor overall. I have taken in my friends' dogs while they're on vacation (as a last resort, for my kitty's sake). I volunteered at Animal Care and Control and the SPCA in San Francisco, CA for years when I was younger. I am a nonprofit consultant so I work from home and have a flexible schedule to house-sit (as long as I have wi-fi), drop in and do dog walks. I love to take long walks especially in the Presidio of San Francisco.

Incredible experience having such a reliable dog walker. Our dog adored Nancy and lit up every time she came by. Working with Nancy brought a sense of peace and calm to us knowing our dog was in such trusted hands.
