I am Home during the day and only work occasional weekend evenings from 7:00–11:00 PM. During those times, my husband and adult children are home to help supervise and care for your pup. If I need to run a quick errand, I do have a crate available if your dog is crate-trained and comfortable using one. I follow a structured daily routine that includes playtime, walks, potty breaks, rest periods, and plenty of attention, while always adapting to your dog’s individual needs and schedule. My own dog, Graham, is a well-trained senior who is calm, independent, and very well-behaved. His routine will not interfere with the care and attention your dog receives. Because of my home environment, I do prefer dogs that are house-trained, can comfortably be left alone for short periods if necessary, and have basic manners.

Safety, trust & environment
My home is spacious, clean, and dog-friendly, providing plenty of room for your pup to relax and play. I have a large, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely enjoy outdoor time. Please note that I have a large ungated swimming pool, so I only accept dogs that are comfortable around a pool and will not attempt to jump in. For the safety and comfort of all pets in my care, I require that dogs: * Be fully house-trained. * Be friendly and social with other dogs. * Have good manners in a group setting. I occasionally host up to three dogs at a time, which is the maximum number I accept. This allows me to provide each dog with plenty of attention, supervision, exercise, and care. Everyone in my home is an adult, so there are no small children. This creates a calm environment where your dog will receive consistent care, love, and supervision. To ensure the best experience for everyone, I require a meet-and-greet before accepting any new client. This gives us the opportunity to make sure your pup is a great fit for my home and helps everyone feel comfortable before their stay.

Information Nancy P. would like to know about your pet
I strive to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment for every dog in my care. Before your pup’s stay, please share any information that will help me meet their individual needs, including their daily routine, feeding schedule, medications, allergies, favorite activities, and any behavioral quirks. I am experienced in administering medications and am happy to reinforce basic commands and positive behaviors during their stay. My goal is to maintain your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable, secure, and at home. For everyone’s safety, I appreciate knowing if your dog has any history of separation anxiety, resource guarding, excessive barking, escaping, or difficulty interacting with other dogs. Honest communication helps ensure the best experience for every pet. Daycare Hours: Daycare includes up to 8 hours of care with a 30-minute grace period for pickup. A late pickup fee will apply after the grace period. Please Note: At this time, I am unable to accept Chihuahuas, German Shepherds, Pugs, or Huskies. I look forward to getting to know your pup and providing them with plenty of love, attention, playtime, and personalized care while you’re away. Your dog will be treated like a member of my family from the moment they arrive.
A typical day
Your pup will enjoy a fun, structured day filled with plenty of love, attention, and exercise. We spend time outside in my large, fenced backyard playing fetch, exploring, and burning off energy several times throughout the day. Walks, potty breaks, rest periods, meals, and playtime are all tailored to your dog’s individual routine and needs. While indoors, dogs are free to relax and roam throughout the downstairs of my home. A safety gate prevents access to the upstairs, helping maintain a safe and comfortable environment. If a dog needs a quiet break or their own space, I also have a separate area where they can relax comfortably. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, happy, and at home while they’re in my care, with plenty of one-on-one attention and supervision throughout the day.

Playful dog mom !
Pet care experience
I’ve cared for dogs for friends and family for many years, providing a safe, loving home while they’re away. My spacious, dog-friendly home and large fenced backyard give pups plenty of room to play, relax, and feel at home. As a stay-at-home mom, I’m home most of the day to provide personalized care, attention, and exercise. On the occasional evening I work, my husband and our two adult sons, who are also dog lovers, help care for your pup. Our resident dog, Graham, is a calm, friendly senior who enjoys other dogs and helps create a relaxed environment. My goal is to make every pup feel safe, loved, and treated like part of the family.

Bonnie had a blast with Nancy! Nancy kept me updated with pictures the whole time Bonnie stayed with her and her family. She said that Bonnie was very well behaved and they enjoyed Bonnie’s company. We will definitely be seeing Nancy again!

Nancy is fantastic with Gigi! Thanks Nancy for taking such great care of her😊

Nancy was wonderful with our dog, Zoey! Not only was she quick to respond to messages, but she was willing to watch Zoey with short notice after doing a meet and greet. We loved that Nancy sent updates, pictures, and videos during Zoey’s stay!
