Availability
I work from home Monday - Friday so I’m available to get your pup outside regularly and give him/her plenty of love and attention. On the weekends, with your permission, I love to take the dogs to nearby parks for walks.

Safety, trust & environment
I find the most important thing I can do to keep your dog safe is to keep them on-leash when we are out of the house. I love to walk with the dogs, but I assure you that I am committed to keeping them near and out of harms way. In the home I always have plenty fresh water in their bowl and feed them according to your instructions; NO people food happens here! Also, I’m happy to follow any additional safety or care related instructions specific to your dog.

Schedules for the following: meals, bathroom breaks for #1 & #2, treats, walks, medication. Any food allergies? How do they do with other dogs? Please also make sure the dog’s profile is up to date with your Vet’s contact information. It is also helpful to write the vet’s information and an emergency contact on a piece of paper just to have handy if needed.
A typical day
Please bring your dogs favorite toys. I’m happy to play tug, ball, or whatever game is part of their normal routine. With your permission, I will take your dog to local parks/ hike spots. I love to walk and be outside!

Pet care experience
I have experience caring for dogs at both the personal and professional level. Quite a few years ago I rescued two dogs and they became my family for much of my adult life. We were the Three Musketeers! They were both long hair terrier mixes so for many years I was accustomed to regular brushing and bathing. My professional experience was quite similar in that I was a manager for a dog bathing and grooming company. It was a very hands on position so I learned how to handle dogs of all shapes and sizes. I feel the most valuable task that I learned during that time was to safely trim nails. it’s a service that I gladly offer to you as well. Additionally, I’m always happy to follow detailed care instructions, so please let me know how I can best care for your pup!
Reviews

Rue loved the time he spent with you. Thank you again so much.

Wow! Nancy is the best…Cooper (our part dog/part human labradoodle) had a great meet & greet and then felt right at home a couple weeks later when he stayed at “Camp Nancy.” We got several daily pics where Coop looked so at home. It is clear that Nancy is a total dog person and knows how to cater to just what your pet needs. Daily walks thru her neighborhood made Cooper happy. I would definitely recommend Nancy. Really, really incredible Rover sitter!

Nancy did such a great job taking care of Ruby. She gave her the love and care that we give her. We could see how happy she was and was so glad Nancy sent us so many pictures. Looking forward to many more dog vacations at her home.

Rocky really enjoyed his stay! Nancy was amazing with him. He seems to really feel at home at her house. Nancy will be our new sitter going forward! Thanks again!
