Happy Hounds Hideaway
Our experience is from growing up with dogs, owning dogs throughout our lives, and now, a full year of Rover sittings. We have taken care of dogs small as 7lbs to 150 lbs....loved every one of them. We do know how to administer medication that is either liquid, pill, or ointment form.

Nancy and Jeremy are kind, caring, and experienced dog sitters who went above and beyond while caring for our dog during our time away. Schedule
My husband and I work off-shift hours. I work from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and he works from 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Dogs will only be left alone during weekdays for approximately 4 hours and penned in their own living space (rooms approximately 10 x 10). Weekends are wide open and ready to play, cuddle, and take care of your baby. During weekdays, we prefer drop-off between 4-7 p.m. and pick-up either between 7 - 10 a.m. or between 4-7 p.m. On weekends, drop-off and pick-up can be as early as 7 a.m. but no later than 7 p.m. We appreciate a text or Rover message with ETA for meetings, drop-offs, and pickups. This is for the safety of all dogs in our care and we are prepared for your arrival.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a large private fenced-in yard. We currently have one very friendly pup, Nala. She hasn't met a human or dog she hasn't liked. She loves to chase and play with other dogs. Her favorite toy is the tug rope. We believe every dog is unique and will abide by the parent's care instructions. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and to sleep in the bed, if they wish. We also have different-sized crates, if your dog prefers the comfort of an enclosed bed. We are fully insured through Pet Care Insurance.
Pets
A typical day
We regularly visit dog parks, go for walks, and play ball in the backyard. On hotter days, we set up the dog sprinkler and kid pool to splash around in. On cold winter days, we can still go outside, but also set up a space to play inside. We typically feed the pets twice each day. Please let us know if your schedule is more or less than that. During feeding time, all pets are separated to ensure no aggressive behavior happens.
