Pet care experience
I've grown up with furry and feathered friends all of my life! From hamsters, to birds and fish, to cats, horses, turtles and dogs. Animals, just like people, need to feel safe, loved and respected. I believe in moving at the speed of trust while connecting with an animal. I understand transitions and new environments can be overwhelming, my goal is to make your pet feel a home away from home.

Nancy is everything you want and more in a pet sitter. My doberman Max is an anxious one but he always runs to Nancy with his tail wagging, I know he feels safe with her. She makes sure to get his energy out with walks and time at the park. She even invested in getting my Max his favorite treats and a couple of squeaky toys. I highly recommend Nancy.

My apartment has a large backyard with a secure fence. There are also several dog parks near me if you'd like your furry friend to have some social time. I go on 2-3 walks a day, so I would be happy to have your pet as company! I follow directions well, and will prioritize any dietary or medical needs of your pet.

A typical day
Together, your furry friend and I will be explorers! We will discover new sights and scents around my neighborhood and visit the local dog park. If your pet is more of a homebody, no problem! We have a huge, securely fenced back yard. Plenty of space to get their energy out. I have an abundance of toys as well, from squeaky ones, to bells and feathers. My house is also abundant with treats!

Availability
I'm currently working part time, virtually. I have flexible hours between 12-8pm and usually have 1-3 one hour virtual meetings per work day. I can move my work schedule around to accommodate pet sitting/walking.
