Hi there, I am Nancy! I love animals, and I have been brought up with both cats and dogs. Daily, I enjoy discovering new places, and I would love a furry friend joining me in my urban adventures. When it comes to my pet- sitting style, I would say that I am trying to balance discipline with affection, and that I am always interested in adjusting in each animal’s needs and personality. If there are more things that you would like to know about me, please feel free to shoot me a message! I am committed in providing frequent walks and exercise for doggies, or for adventurous cats that are familiar with the walking leash! Additionally, I am experienced in caring for animals with specific dietary needs, and in administrating medication.

Nancy looked after my springer spaniel beautifully over the last Christmas holidays at quite short notice. She was very caring and committed to ensuring that Peigi was happy and was great at keeping in touch.
Nancy is a lovely person who has great skills with animals. Our Galgan had a great time with her <3 We received a picture or a movie every day. Highly recommended
Nancy is a great catsitter and went above and beyond to take care of our little cat Coffeebean during the holidays. Our kitten felt sick the day after we left (on Christmas eve!), Nancy took her to the vet and looked after her with lots of care and affection. She looked after Coffeebean at her place to make sure she recovered (we initially agreed on house visits), making us feel very much reassured that everything was being taken care of. It’s no surprise Coffeebean warmed up to her in no time. We wholeheartedly recommend Nancy!
Nancy was great with Maddie and we will definitely ask her to help out in the future if we need to. She clearly loves animals and went out of her way to make sure Maddie was kept happy. We also really appreciated the updates with photos.
Nancy was excellent with penny and made her feel very comfortable. I was kept up to date throughout the whole stay and she catered to all penny's needs. I highly recommend leaving your fur baby's with Nancy. ?
Nancy were so nice to our Honey while we were away. She definitely listened to instructions and had no issues with Honey at all. Nancy is very active and brought Honey out to the Park, hiking, visit castle as well. She keep us updated of the days with lovely pictures. We would highly recommended.

Schedule
Since I don’t work and have more free time on weekends, I focus most of my pet care routine then. I make sure to handle tasks like deep cleaning, grooming, and long play sessions during the weekend.

Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or a pet owner’s home, I always prioritize safety, comfort, and consistency with the pet’s normal routine. In my home, I provide a clean, secure environment with plenty of playtime, regular feeding, and personal attention. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their specific instructions carefully—this includes feeding schedules, walking routines, administering medications if needed, and giving the pets plenty of love and interaction. I also make sure to keep the home tidy and respect the space as if it were my own. My goal is to make the pets feel comfortable and reduce any stress from being away from their owners.
A typical day
While taking care of an animal, I am striving to make sure that I offer them the best experience possible! With dogs, I enjoy taking them on long walks in the nearby parks or Portobello beach, or for a hiking trip on Holyrood. For cats, I aim to stimulate their inquisitive nature with plenty of toys and games! Even better, if you cat enjoys a walk outside on the leash!
