I love living with cats!
My cats have had great lives in my household. We sit, play and read together. I welcome their company as I work and listen to the news. My home is calm and peaceful, with a locked screen door that lets the sights and sounds of my lovely backyard offer lots of interesting entertainment, if that's appealing to your cat.

Nancy was wonderful. I was concerned about Sigyn taking meds for someone different, and she messaged me after his first dose to assure me he took it well. She sent updates letting me know how he was doing. Highly recommend.
Nancy was FANTASTIC! I would recommend her to anyone to care for their kitty! She sent great little updates each day, and included pictures. She told us multiple times that she truly enjoyed her time with Sock. She had everything packed up for me to pick him up too, and she was so flexible and easy to communicate with. Nancy had a lovely demeanor, she gave a couple of updates, was accommodating, and took very good care of my fur baby, Jack. She was patient, kind, and professional. She allowed us to adjust our pickup time and my mother appreciated her so much that she gave a cash tip.

Nancy was fantastic with our two cats and we will be using her again! The cats felt immediately at home and we felt so comfortable that they were safe and very happy! She really got to know the personalities of our cats and sent detailed updates often. Our cats now have a home with Nancy whenever we are out of town and we cannot recommend her enough.
I know how well Nancy cares for pets from observing her lovingly look after her own cats and from her reliable caregiving of mine. Nancy goes out of her way to provide for the individual requirements of each pet. One of her own cats had dietary needs that required making a special meal each day, something Nancy helped work out with the vet and that she provided for her cat every day. When travelling, I always knew my two cats were in good hands with Nancy caring for them. I could tell they missed time with her when I returned!

Schedule
I work at Dickinson College and live within walking distance of campus. I am up early and home in the mornings before work for breakfast and litter box care, back for an hour or so at lunch time, and home for the evening by 5 p.m. I am home during the days and evenings even on weekend days, mostly carrying on with office work.

In living with my cats, I always welcomed their company while I am working on my laptop or reading and otherwise puttering around the house. We chat a lot, I enjoy brushing cats as long as they do, too, and I am happy to give them access to any area of my home that interests them.
A typical day
I take my cues from the cats. I'll play as long as they are interested, brush coats if they like it, and encourage them to investigate their surroundings to their satisfaction.

- I hope you'll let me know you cat's interests and dislikes. Nobody likes the sound of a vacuum cleaner, obviously, but I've had cats that have hated the sound of grocery store plastic bags. I was happy to avoid making that sound in their presence.
