Nancy was great! She sent me daily updates with photos so I can see Sophie was relaxed and having a wonderful time, which really helped to focus on the trip and not the dog!

Nancy is fantastic. My family enjoyed our vacation so much more knowing that Nancy was taking care of our four legged family member. She sent numerous pictures showing our dog enjoying himself at the park, playing with other dogs, or simply taking a nap. I can't thank her enough for taking such great care of our dog.

My goal is to create a loving/fun vacation for your best friend as he/she becomes part of our family. All you do is pack enough food for their visit (in zip lock bags - not their entire food storage bin, please), medications, supplements and leash. We do the rest; providing TLC, toys, fun outings, belly or butt scratches and ...

What Nancy would like to know about your dog

How is your dog on a leash? (Picture me with four dogs at once on leashes.) What is your dog's normal schedule? Does she/he heel, come when called and know basic commands? Where is he/she used to sleeping? Does your dog do well in the car? Are they up-to-date on vaccinations? Any allergies? Is it necessary for your dog to be kenneled if we leave?

We have no breed preference. However, since they'll be staying in our home, we want to watch well-mannered dogs. A well-behaved dog equals a fun, stress-free, enjoyable time for ALL of us! So, sorry NO puppies!

When Nancy watches your pet

Here's where we'll take our walks:
If your dog is good at recall, and with your permission and weather permitting, we'll usually go on some kind of fun, daily excursion - either to one of the local dog parks for chasing, fetching and swimming or on off-leash walks/hikes at the nearby neighborhood trails or parks. We also play in the yard a lot. Our philosophy is that a tired dog is a happy dog, so whatever we do, it's great exercise and the dogs always finish with long tongues and smiling faces.

Your dog's sleeping arrangements:
We do our best to mimic what your furry friend is used to at home. Your dog is welcome to sleep in her/his bed inside our bedroom, the family room or a kennel. However, in order for US to sleep, we draw the line at any dogs sleeping on our bed with us.

Time I'll spend with your dog:
Since I work from home, we will be together most of the time. There may be a few times a week where I have appointments and may need to be away but only for a few hours at a time.
