I work from home Monday-Friday. I am an early riser on the weekends as well. My husband and I are available all days of the week to care for dogs. We love to have dogs on our lap or at our side. We cannot wait to meet yours and care for yours.

I do not have any pets in the home and we will lovingly be with your pet at all times, including while we take them outside for a walk or potty breaks. I want to hear all about your pets daily activities and things that are important to you and your dog in their daily living. We understand the importance of dietary needs specific to each animal and will absolutely honor your requests specific to daily food plans and treats.

We will want to know all of the details about your dog’s habits, behavior, food needs, special treats favorite toys, best ways to interact etc. we would love to know and understand your special commands and/or any tricks our personality traits of your dog. We understand each dog is unique and has special needs and ways of doing things. We will want to know all of your daily habits so we can keep things consistent for your treasured pet while you are away.
A typical day
I work from 7 AM to 3 PM in the house and then after that we are free. We are mostly homebodies and enjoy the company of dogs. We love to play fetch and games inside the house and would do the same outside if the dog is not a ‘runner’ 😉 We will take small walks, but we are not able to manage high energy dogs that require miles of walking each day.

My husband and I have raised 4 “rescued” dogs and one purebred during our 18 years together. We loved them all unconditionally and enjoyed all the time we had with them. We each had dogs in our prior 30 years of childhood and raising children. They were all amazing pets and we loved them as family. We had great friends who were able to take care of our dogs when we needed to go away and we are so thankful for that. I was never able to consider putting ours in a kennel. NOTE: I am very sorry to note that I have allergies so we can only accept hypoallergenic dogs for care in our home. So sorry, we love them all, but I am unable to care for other breeds in our home. If you are unsure about allergies, we could do a meet and greet to figure it out.. We dont miss an opportunity to say hello to a dog passing by on the sidewalk, admire from a distance as we’re waiting at a stoplight or any public place. Caring for your special fur-baby will be my privilege. My motivation is purely related to having dogs around to love and care for. I cannot wait to love, care for and protect your special family member! I will be glad to share pictures and updates with you to put you at ease while you are away. We know how important it is when you entrust your family member to others. For first time stays and especially long term stays, we would welcome an initial visit to meet your special family member and let you see the surroundings where your pet will be cared for.

I would highly recommend Nancy M as a dog sitter because of her genuine love of dogs. Your dog will be well-cared for and no little detail will be over-looked. Nancy is prompt, reliable and a great communicator. She has not taken care of my dog, because I don’t have any. I have seen her with other dogs and she is nurturing every need for the dog.
Nancy is awesome with dogs. Over the years she has rescued older dogs to live out their best life. She is also one of the most friendliest people I know. Nancy will love and play with your dog like it’s one of the family, giving you peace of mind while you’re away.
Nancy has been a friend of for 40 +years. She is a very caring, kind, empathetic and responsible person. She has always had a strong affection for all dogs. She has had several dogs over the years and has treated them all like a close family member. I know she will make an excellent pet sitter.
