I work from home, which allows me to be present with the dogs throughout the day. Pet care is integrated into our daily rhythm, not squeezed in between errands. My two sons are also home regularly, so dogs are never left alone. Between indoor relaxation, backyard time, walks, and companionship, your pup is always supervised and included as part of our day. We’re happy to open our home to care for your pup in a nurturing, safe, and relaxed environment.

Safety, trust & environment

Our home is calm, private, and designed for dogs to feel relaxed and secure. We have a fully fenced backyard with grass and plenty of shade, along with a covered porch that’s a favorite hangout spot for pups who enjoy lounging and watching the world go by. Inside, dogs are welcome to get comfortable—on the couch, on the bed, or in their own space. We focus on creating an environment where dogs feel safe, loved, and protected, especially those who may be anxious or adjusting to a new place. We go for walks in the morning and late afternoon, enjoy playtime indoors and out, and provide consistent supervision and affection throughout the day. You’ll receive regular photo updates so you can relax knowing your pup is happy and well cared for. If your dog typically sleeps in a crate at night, please let us know in advance and bring it along. Dogs who are used to crating often don’t know what to do in a new environment without it and may wander, get into things, or feel unsettled while we’re sleeping. Setting them up with their familiar routine helps everyone have a smooth, restful night. We also have a doggy door that dogs quickly learn to use while staying here. It allows them easy access to the fenced backyard for potty breaks, fresh air, or a little sunshine, and adds to their comfort and independence during the day. 🐶💖🏡

Dog Loving Home w/Fenced Backyard

Pet care experience

Hi! My name is Nancy, and I’m excited to welcome your fur baby into our home for a day (or stay) filled with love, comfort, and attentive care. Pet care is truly a family affair here. Alongside me are my two sons—both recent high school graduates—so there is always someone home. Dogs are never left alone here. Your pup can choose what feels best for them throughout the day—snuggling near their humans, relaxing in their own bed or crate, or stretching out on the couch or bed. Dogs are absolutely welcome on furniture (we do a lot of laundry 😉). Our goal is for every dog to feel safe, loved, and protected while they’re with us, especially pups who may be anxious or need a little extra reassurance. We provide treats, toys, food, and lots of affection—just bring your pup and we’ll take it from there. If your dog has special food, favorite toys, a blanket, bed, or crate, you’re welcome to send those along for added comfort. We welcome small to medium dogs, including puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with special needs. Whether for daycare or boarding, each dog receives calm, one-on-one attention in a peaceful, home-based environment. Please message me with any questions—I’m happy to help you feel completely at ease. Get $20 off your first Rover booking with code: NANCYD90584

Kirby enjoyed his “meet and greet” at Nancy’s. We received several cute pictures of him hanging out and looking relaxed. We will definitely use Nancy again as a Rover!

Nancy deserves way more than 5 stars. We were honestly convinced Riley was going to come home with a list of complaints… instead, she came home happy, tired, and probably wondering why we don’t spoil her like Nancy does. The constant photo and video updates were awesome—we got to watch Riley making friends, having adventures, and apparently collecting admirers. We’re still trying to figure out Nancy’s secret because Riley behaved suspiciously well. If you’re looking for someone who treats your dog like family (and maybe even better than family), Nancy is the one. We’ll definitely be booking with her again. Thanks for taking such amazing care of our little land shark!
