Nancy is fantastic! Ginger was well taken care of at her house. Nancy is very responsive, caring, and sent us thoughtful updates so we could see how Ginger was doing. I know Ginger will be excited for her next stay with Nancy! 🐾

We had a great experience working with Nancy! Our dog was boarded at her house for a few days. Each day we received texts and picture updates. Our dog received lots of love and plenty of walks! I fully trusted Nancy and really appreciated her great communication. We will definitely be using her again.

Nancy was amazing. We have two older, 70+ lb dogs a she took them for 11 days and cared for them as if they were her own. We got pictures of them on walks, napping, and sneaking into her bed. She was responsive and so caring. She even dropped them off at our house after our plane landed, making things so much easier for us. We will definitely be using her (and hopefully only her) for our future trips.

Schedule

Pet care is a core part of my everyday life because pet‑sitting is my full‑time job. My days revolve around maintaining consistent routines, giving each pet plenty of attention, and making sure everyone feels comfortable and cared for. I’m home throughout the day, which means I can provide regular walks, playtime, feeding schedules, and companionship without rushing or squeezing things in. With my own 8‑year‑old, 80‑lb lab by my side, caring for dogs is simply part of the rhythm of my home and my week. Pets staying with me get reliable structure, lots of interaction, and a calm environment where they can settle in and feel at ease.

Safety, trust & environment

I offer both in‑home boarding and in‑home sitting, and I tailor my care to whatever helps pets feel the most comfortable. When pets stay with me, they have full access to my fenced‑in backyard for safe outdoor time, plus daily walks either through downtown Lambertville or along the quieter D&R towpath depending on their energy level and personality. My home is set up for dogs to relax, follow familiar routines, and enjoy plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m also happy to stay in a client’s home when that’s the best fit. In those cases, I adapt completely to the pet’s existing schedule, environment, and household routines—whether that means sticking to specific feeding times, maintaining training habits, or keeping their usual walking routes. My goal is always to make pets feel secure, understood, and cared for, no matter which service their family chooses.

Pets

A typical day

Walks and snuggles are always part of the routine when I’m caring for pets. I love getting dogs out for fresh air and exploring—whether that’s a lively stroll through downtown Lambertville or a peaceful walk along the D&R towpath. At home, pets can enjoy playtime in my fenced‑in backyard, enrichment activities that match their energy level, and plenty of cozy downtime. I’m big on affection and companionship, so snuggles, belly rubs, and quiet hangout time are guaranteed. My goal is to make every stay feel fun, comforting, and tailored to each pet’s personality.
