Hello! My name is Nancy and I am a retired nurse and current animal lover/caretaker. I have looked after all species of animals for over 40 years. I have owned cats, dogs, pigs, and reptiles and volunteered to work on farms with pigs, horses, and sheep. As an animal caretaker, nurturing and understanding your companions is my top priority. Whether it's a head scratch, walk, game of fetch, or a few extra treats, I'm dedicated to providing the utmost care and comfort to every creature in my charge. With years of experience and an unwavering love for animals, I'm here to ensure their well-being and happiness, creating a safe and nurturing environment.

Nancy took wonderful care of Charlie and Goose while we were away. Both dogs were happy and well cared for, and our house was in great shape when we returned. She went above and beyond, which was such a thoughtful surprise. We felt very comfortable knowing our dogs and home were in such capable hands and would happily book with her again!

Schedule
Being retired allows for a flexible schedule to spend time with your pets! I am available for housesitting, dog walking, boarding, and drop-ins. I am happy to look after any and all animals.

I treat every pet as if it were my own. I take extra steps and precautions to ensure the safety of both your pet and home. I always leave a space better than I found it.
A typical day
Each day, I take the dogs around the neighborhood or to a local park for a walk, once or twice a day. While home, they are given plenty of attention and play time to ease any anxiety or stress. Cats are given lots of love, attention, and playtime if they would like, or I can stay with them for company and ensure they have fresh food, water, and litter. -I can easily walk over 5 miles per day -I can lift dog food and cat litter -I am able to bend over to scoop litter and bathe/groom pets -I can provide sufficient time and companionship for your pets in your absence. -I use positive reinforcement training methods.
