I work from home so I have quite a bit of flexibility to check in on your paw-children to give them some extra love and attention and take them out for their walks.

When checking in on your pets, I'll do a quick look-over to make sure no apparent injuries or illness is displayed, check on their water dish, and for dogs I'll take them outside for a potty break and maybe a quick game of fetch. If you need me to feed them or give them their meds, I'll get specific instructions from you for what to do (how much food, is there a specific place you want me to place their food, etc.). For Cats I can clean their box. For walking, I would want to learn more about their walking personality, how you want me to treat other dogs as we meet them (go across the street, if it's a small dog I can pick them up, etc.), what halter and leash you want me to use. I will do my very best to keep your dog happy and safe in my care.

Let me know if your dog has any special care needed, do they take medications, how often I should take them on walks, anything I need to watch out for (will they try to run out the door, do they need help up the stairs, do they like sleeping on the bed while im staying with them, etc.)

The dogs I watch, I'll go for walks, play fetch, we will sometimes go to the lake if your dog likes the water and is good off leash. I love hiking so I can bring them on a trail with me if you would like. Let me know your dogs favorite activities and toys.

***my rates do not change, but Rover keeps increasing their fees. I do my best to keep my total rate competitive. I work from home, which allows me to keep a closer eye on your pets during house sitting, if needed. I've grown up taking care of several pets (cats, dogs, birds, fish) and currently have my 7 year old tortie cat adopted from SPCA and a 1 year old kitten that my family caught as a wild kitten. I have house-sat for several friends and have been on Rover for almost three years now, taking care of their pets while they were gone on vacation: feeding them, going on walks, cleaning up after them, checking on pet fish, etc. I would love to have the same opportunity to make sure your pets are well cared for while you are away.

Nancy does a great job taking care of my dog, and leaving my home clean and neat when the service is over. My dog does does well when Nancy stays with her and I will definitely have her come to stay again.
Nancy did an amazing job caring for our three dogs, saltwater fish, and bearded dragon while we were away. She kept us updated with regular pictures and messages, which gave us great peace of mind. It was clear that all of our pets were happy, comfortable, and well cared for when we returned home. Nancy went above and beyond to make sure our entire pet family received excellent care. We highly recommend her and would gladly book with her again!
Nancy was great! She was attentive and sent many updates. Our dog is nervous and takes multiple medications which he can be fussy about. She ensured he was well taken care of and took his meds.
Nancy was super easy to work with, communicative, and reliable. We have an elderly dog and a two year old (crazy) pup. She handled both challenges and we came home to a happy dogs and a clean house. We highly recommend Nancy!
