Happy Paws, Happy Hearts!
I grew up with three labs (all at the same time) and have been around dogs my whole life. We have raised two puppies in the last six years, a yellow lab (who recently passed away) and our golden retriever, Piper. We treat our dogs as members of the family and are excited to welcome in new friends!

Annie is an incredible human and dog lover. She is extremely conscientious and thinks ten steps ahead, an imperative when working with dogs. Our own pup spent three weeks with her while we were out of town and we could have felt more comfortable knowing she was in Annie’s capable, kind hands.

Schedule
Both my husband and I currently work full time. We are available full time on weekends, Friday afternoon-Sunday night. Weekdays we are away from home roughly 8 hours a day but often pop in to let our own dog out in the afternoon and would do the same for yours! Our golden retriever is crate trained but we leave her door open during the day. We can accommodate both crate trained and non-crate trained dogs. Otherwise, we spend the majority of our weekends at home with our two young kiddos.

Our dog, Piper, is crate trained during the day but we leave her kennel door open. We have a large fenced in backyard for her to play and we often take her on walks with our kids. Our only ask would be that the dogs we welcome in are comfortable around babies and toddlers.

A typical day
We love to spend time with our kids and dogs outside. Typical day would include walks around our neighborhood and fetch in our backyard. Our kids also love to chase our dog around the house and play catch. Now that we’re in the summer months, we’ll often play outside with a hose or sprinkler and invite the dogs to play too.

- Please let me know if your dog is nervous around children, has any kind of food aggression, needs extra stimulation, or requires time alone to be calm. Our house is often loud with kids running and playing and our dogs always join in on the fun!
