With Dustin working from home full-time and me only in the office three days a week, your dog will have constant companionship and never be alone for extended periods. We're committed to following your dog's exact routine and house rules because we know how crucial consistency is for their comfort and training.

A typical day
Our location offers wonderful opportunities for dogs who enjoy a more active lifestyle - we're just a 10-minute walk from both Tourmaline Beach and the beautiful Calumet Park which perfect for whatever type of exercise and adventure your dog loves most. Dustin and I are also very active people, so happy to adapt to your dogs needs.

Pet care experience
My partner Dustin and I are seeking to provide loving, attentive care for your dog while you're away. As experienced dog lovers who have cared for our family’s dogs growing up (English Lab for me and German Shepard for Dustin), we understand first hand how important it is to have your pup(s) well taken care of by someone you trust, making them feel comfortable like they are on a staycation or at a second home, while you are away or unavailable. We love and welcome dogs of all sizes, especially large ones (previous tenant of our apartment owned a Great Dane!). As future dog parents ourselves who are planning to get our own pet when we're ready to fully commit, we genuinely treasure every moment with the dogs in our care and treat them exactly like family.

A lovely and caring young couple. So easy to work with. Our dog is old and deaf. They seemed to have done well with him. While we brought his bed over I understand that he slept on their couch. It was nice of them to let him be, he’s usually not a problem but has his ways.
Nanako & Dustin were wonderful with my 18 year old geriatric dog! I received many updates thru out the day that allowed me to rest easy that he was happy and relaxed in his temporary home. The home was calm for him and he seemed completely at ease there; would not have happened at home with multiple dogs. I am so thankful that Nanako was super flexible as he is an early riser and woke extra early on the morning of Daylight Savings time very early; she handled him so well making sure he got his food and medication when needed with many walks mixed in. Thank you so much, I would definitely book with them again!
Nanako and Dustin are awesome caretakers as they're empathetic, active, and genuinely caring people. Having grown up with pets, they really understand what it takes to care for an animal and take the time to get to know each pet’s personality and needs. They love being outdoors, going for walks, exploring new spots, and spending time at the beach, so your dog will get plenty of exercise, stimulation, and fresh air. They’re also responsible, thoughtful, and communicative, making sure every pet feels comfortable and cared for while keeping every owner updated. I’d absolutely trust Nanako and Dustin to give any pet the same love and attention they give their own. They bring such positive energy and genuine care to everything they do so your pet couldn’t be in better hands :)
