A Home Away From Home for Your Dog
I’ve loved and cared for dogs for over 25 years and understand how important it is to know your dog is safe, comfortable and loved while you’re away. I’m an empty nester and home throughout the day, so your dog will receive plenty of individual attention, companionship, outdoor time and affection. My home in Port Stanley is quiet and pet-free, with a large fully fenced yard where your dog can safely enjoy plenty of fresh air and playtime. I only host dogs from one family at a time, making my home especially comfortable for dogs who may not enjoy a busy kennel or being around unfamiliar pets. I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking and sleeping routine and provide regular photos and updates so you can relax knowing they’re being well cared for. My goal is simple: I want your dog to feel like they’re staying with family. ❤️

I can’t say enough wonderful things about her. She looked after my two Golden Retrievers, Calvin and Hobbs, and was absolutely amazing with them. Sadly, Calvin had cancer and eventually had to be put down, and she was there through that incredibly difficult time. The love, compassion and care she showed him is something I will never forget. I have honestly never seen someone so natural, loving and dedicated with animals. Her home setup couldn’t be better for dogs—she has lots of land for them to enjoy, and it’s a safe, comfortable environment where you know they are being well cared for. She treats every animal as if they were her own, and I trusted her completely with Calvin and Hobbs. I would highly recommend her to anyone on Rover looking for someone dependable, experienced and genuinely devoted to animals. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to leave my pets in her care. They truly couldn’t be in better hands.

Growing up, our home was always filled with pets, and I’ve seen firsthand how loving and attentive she is with animals. Schedule
I’m home throughout the day, so your dog will have plenty of companionship, attention and outdoor time. I’m available for both overnight boarding and doggy daycare throughout the week. With a large fenced yard, frequent potty breaks and playtime are easy to fit into our day. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual feeding, walking and sleeping routine so they feel comfortable and at home.

I provide a quiet, comfortable, pet-free home with a large fully fenced yard where your dog can safely enjoy supervised outdoor time. I only host dogs from one family at a time, so your dog receives plenty of individual attention without being surrounded by unfamiliar pets. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding, medications, walks and routines, and I’m happy to provide regular photos and updates throughout their stay.
A typical day
Since I’m home throughout the day, your dog will have plenty of company and attention. We’ll enjoy time outside in my large fenced yard, playtime, walks around the neighbourhood and lots of time to relax and cuddle. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine for meals, walks, naps and bedtime so their stay feels as comfortable and familiar as possible.

- Before your dog’s stay, I’d love to know about their personality, daily routine, feeding schedule, walking habits and sleeping preferences. Please let me know about any medications, allergies, health concerns, anxiety, triggers or behavioural needs. I’d also like to know how they behave around new people and on walks, whether they have any history of escaping or aggression, and anything else that will help me keep them safe, happy and comfortable.
