I have had a wide variety of pets my entire life. My Dad always had a Beagle or two and we always had at least one cat. I currently am Blessed with Roo, my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is my partner in running, biking, hiking, camping, and even travels by plane and train with me 😀 I am available most days and nights, some drop in care and sometimes notice is needed. I have a big fenced in yard and Roo would be a perfect companion for a gentle, non-aggressive playmate. Any pets I keep will become part of our family with indoor/outdoor privileges including daytime and/or evening walks throughout the neighborhood with a stop at Gramma's house for a drink of water and a treat.

Nan is wonderful! Loves our Bear and sends great updates and photos. Even brought Bear to my car when I came to pick him up in the pouring rain!
She's a 5 right off the bat since she is the first walker of 4 that has shown up for a booking!! My dogs love her too so that gives her a 5. My mom, who is 80 and can't really walk the my babies, was there to let her in and introduce her and she loved her too so another 5!! Thank you Nan!!

Our dog, Tucker, is our child. In the more than 12 years Tucker has been with us, we've never left him in the care of someone else (including family member's who feel dogs are children too) because he had come from a difficult background, had some issues as a result of being abused and we couldn't bear the thought of him being traumatized any further. My father passed away and in order to attend his funeral and spend time with our family, we knew we'd have to take a leap of faith and try to find THE perfect person to care for our little old man. We scoured rover.com (over a three state area!) for someone we felt would be experienced, trustworthy, kind, patient and loving and all signs kept pointing to Nan, so we took that leap of faith and booked Nan. Not only did Nan care for and treat Tucker as if he were her baby, she went above and beyond to relieve the separation anxiety we (his humans) were feeling. Nan was a sincere blessing for us and if you're looking for someone experienced, trustworthy, kind, patient and loving for you four-legged child, she's the one we'd recommend & we would recommend her without any hesitation.
I feel completely safe leaving my Shih Tsu with Nan. You can just see her love for animals. Bridgett had play time and plenty of time outside. She was happy when we picked her up, so I know her stay was a pleasant one. Won't hesitate to use Nan in the future.

A typical day
I LOVE animals, most especially dogs! I have a Cavalier King Charles named Rose (also Roo) who is my almost constant companion. She travels with me, bikes and hikes with me, and is rarely out of my sight. She is very gentle and loves to have play dates!
