I can't even remember the first time I had a pet... I lived in the countryside surrounded by animals and nature most of my life. Since I was 2-3 years old, we got some goats, hens and cats, so before I turned 5 I was already milking them and collecting the eggs. The dogs arrived when I was 14, and the following year they had some puppies so we ended up having 8 little doggies in our house!! At the end, we just kept one pup and the parents. Last year, sadly, the mother left us. So now, the father Taco and his son Leon are who I miss the most living abroad! Some years ago, a little "stray" cat found his new home next to me, and he came to my (and his) home almost every day for more than 2 years. Apart from all the animals that I've lived with, I'm also used to going for walks with my friends' dogs and am always the first one to cuddle/look after every pet I come across with. In a past visit to Spain, I found and rescued a tiny kitty from between some rocks. I took her home and looked after her the whole night. Then, the next day I made sure to leave her in a new safe home/environment for her to grow up with other little kitties before I returned to the UK. I was very sad I couldn't bring her with me! Then, in 2022, I started doing pet sitting professionally here on Rover. 

I have looked after dogs of many different breeds and sizes, cats, and even other pets such as gerbils and rabbits, each of them with their own care needs and personality.

The rate will vary depending on the total length and flexibility I’ll have in case I need to leave to attend other commitments: >If no leaving option: night rate up to 6h then £12/h >If ok to leave for up to 2-3h in a row: night rate up to 8-9h then £10/h >If ok to leave for up to 4-6h in a row: night rate up to 10-11h then £5/h *For stays shorter than 6h, night rate minus £5/h.
