Loving Pet Care from a Vet Student
I’m a third-year veterinary student and lifelong animal lover. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do; it’s something I truly love! I’ve spent my life around animals and have worked with them in homes, clinics, and shelters, from playful puppies to senior cats who need a little extra patience and care. I’m bilingual (English & Spanish) and have over 7 years of hands-on experience as a veterinary technician, including surgical and emergency care. I’m comfortable administering medications, recognizing when something isn’t quite right, and helping animals feel safe and loved even when their humans are away. I’ve been lucky to gain experience with animals in a variety of settings, including some wildlife work in places like Thailand, South Africa, Central and South America. These experiences have helped me grow as a caregiver and strengthened my belief that every animal deserves gentle, compassionate care. I’d love the chance to care for your fur baby like one of my own!

Would 1000% have Naija stay again! She took great care of our pups and sent us lots of pictures and updates. It takes a while for one of our dogs to warm up to new people but he instantly felt comfortable and at ease meeting Naija. Thanks so much!

Naija was great at communicating!
Naija was a wonderful sitter who was not phased at my fairly last minute sitting request! My two quirky herding dogs were immediately comfortable with her, and I was very comforted to know they were with someone who obviously loves all sorts of creatures and has such deep veterinary medical experience. I appreciated the photos and updates she sent and would highly recommend Naija to anyone to care for their pets!
Naija was great with our young dog and elderly cat! She communicated regularly and took our dog on adventures (always with permission). We already booked her for our next outing and highly recommend her.

Schedule
I’m a full-time student, but my schedule is flexible enough that I can come home during the day for potty breaks and check-ins. I know how important it is to feel confident your pet is in good hands, so I’m always happy to chat about their unique needs and routines. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and totally at home while you’re away!
